Zach finally took off his helmet when the last man on his team finally appeared at their meeting place, three hours from the time they started scouting Gallagher Enterprise’s building. He nodded when Gavin informed Buchanan over the radio that his team are all accounted for.“Let’s head back to base,” he firmly instructed as he opened the car door. When he was about to go inside, his head abruptly turned at the sound of sirens. He rushed towards the corner of the street and watched the direction the cars are heading into.“Check with the station on its whereabouts,” he ordered his agent loudly. He pulled out his phone when he felt it vibrating and saw Damon calling on the line. “Montgomery.”“Head towards The Raven Pub,” Damon said immediately. “There’s trouble with the extraction.”The call then ended.Zach shouted at his team and they immediately took off. He cursed darkly, knowing full well that it has something to do with Alex. He doesn’t have to ask about it. The tone in Buchanan
Alex finally opened her eyes and stared at herself in the mirror, standing up.After taking off from the scene where she was ambushed by Saood’s men, she went to one place, which she only knows. A small house outside the city that she bought with cash from the money she had saved over her years of service. She turned on the tap and reached for the towel, hanging on the wall and let it soak with water. Carefully, she started to take off her clothes, breathing heavily at the pain she is feeling in her body. She finally resorted to cutting the fabric with the scissors she found in the drawer. She glanced when her phone on the counter rang and saw Damon calling. She ignored it.“Alex, promise me one thing if it ever gets to a drastic situation,” Julia told her one time when they were having a break. “If ever my life will be ended, do it with your bullet. I don’t want theirs. I’d rather die from yours.”“That’s not going to happen, Jul,” Alex argued lightly. “We’re not going to die early.

He turned as one of his agents approached him and relayed some updates. It was only Tuesday
Alexandra Walters had just pushed opened the door to the diner, she rans together with her aunt and younger sister, when she heard Malcolm’s litany that he will be giving her a piece of his mind. Another long and boring lecture, for sure. She rolled her eyes at that thought as she took off her helmet and stopped when she noticed that there was another person with them.“Oh, I’m pretty sure she’s just going to roll her eyes on you during your lecture.” She commented sarcastically.Ashley, her younger sister looked up with a relief expression on her face while the two men turned towards her. While Malcolm was giving her a frown, the man beside him was looking at her with curiosity and if she guessed correct, somewhat interested.“Where the hell were you?!”They looked towards the voice and Alexandra saw her aunt, coming out from the kitchen holding a wooden spatula and pointing it threateningly at Alexandra.
Alexandra woke up the following day at the sound of her alarm at four-thirty in the morning, reaching over the side table and turned it off. She remained still for a few minutes before finally sitting up and stretching her arms up.She finally got up and changed into her running clothes, putting over a grey hoodie and grabbing her cap before going out of her room. After making sure that she closely secured the service door where she went out, she put on her headset and pressed play on her phone. She then set her watch and started walking briskly for a while, doing some stretching before finally picking up the pace. She started running on her feet, her breathing synchronizing with her pace. She approached the uphill part of the city, and she adjusted her pacing before speeding up again. She ran a total of 10 miles in an hour and a half and she stopped over the park for a few minutes to take a breather before walking back home.Alexandra took a drink from t
Zachary was checking the explosion site when he was alerted of an incident at the diner he went to last night with Malcolm. After giving instructions to his agents of where he will be, he walked towards The Urban Diner where there are two police cars parking in front and personnel holding off customers or curious crowds.“FBI,” he said, showing his badge and he was allowed in.The sight that greeted him was something he would not have thought of. Alexandra, the woman who piqued his interest after seeing her last night was sitting on one chair, nursing a black eye. He watched as she was glaring daggers at two men, who were being read their rights as handcuffs were being placed on them. Her younger sister is beside her, nursing a wound on her right upper arm and saying some words to calm her down.He looked down and found several firearms as well as some IED explosives.“I’ll just have them in for process at the station and hand them
Zach placed down the folder back on his desk after going through the report that his field agents did over the explosion site that happened. He sat up straight and typed into his keyboard, looking at the footages his agents had gotten from the CCTV’s installed by the city. His phone suddenly rang, and he reached into his drawer to see who’s calling.“Zach,” he said after answering the call.“Hi!” A sweet voice came, which belong to the woman he is currently dating, Jacinta Jacobs. “Did I call at a bad time? I can call again later.”He leaned back on his chair.“No, no, it’s okay,” he assured gently. “Is there anything wrong?”“I have to cancel for our date this weekend,” she said apologetically. “Mom called me up this morning and asked if I can make a trip back home. Dad’s not doing well, and she just wants to be prepared for anything that m
Alex tapped her pen on the file she had printed out and read through the description she had of Zach Montgomery, or she had cynically called Mr. FBI on a late Thursday night. She knew the moment she met his eyes that first night is that he is someone that she should be careful of. He’s someone that she’s not going to depend on to keep her background classified.“Harvard Law,” she commented with a smile. “Well, well, well. Touché, Mr. FBI.”She read through the file that was sent to her.Zachary Montgomery, born March 28, 1985, to parents Nathaniel Montgomery, a well-known criminal lawyer in the country and was formerly a District Attorney back in his days and Marian Montgomery, a top cardiothoracic surgeon. Zach is the third child and son in a brood of seven. While his two older brothers, and one younger brother, followed in the footsteps of their father, he somehow had a changed of mind because after he finished Law Sc
