After witnessing the whole scene, and Sharon leaving in a Roy Royce with an old man, John thought she left with her father.

He turned to his assistant, "Take me to the family house, I need to speak with father." His authoritative tone ordered.

And without another a word from Vincent to question his boss, he put on the car engine and hit the road. His aura doesn't look friendly, and to avoid getting on his bad side, you have to do as instructed.

John sat quietly in the car, with a murderous look in his eyes, thinking of an easy technique to catch the villain.

After some minutes drive, they arrived at the GU family house. The GU family house is one of the biggest and tallest building in the entire city, it's building is different from others, always surrounded with thousands of bodyguards.

The touch of complete white painted on the building complimented it, and made it more radiant and beautiful.

Vincent quickly steps down from the car and opened the door for John to step down.

Vincent bow his head in respect immediately he was down and quietly trail behind him.

"Boss." Vincent called out to him, and he halt, then he continued. " Should I block the news from the chairman?" Vincent asked.

"That won't be necessary, I want you to check Sharon's profile and see the kind of man she likes, make sure you get back to me within twenty-four hours." John ordered in an authoritative tone.

"Yes boss." He nodded and continue trailing behind John.

They stride into the mansion to find Mr GU in the living room engrossed in a live news he was watching.

"Hello father, Good day." John greeted with a tight-lipped smile and stride towards him.

Mr GU turned to look at him with a warm smile on his face, and pulled him into a fatherly hug, before he sat down next to him.

"Son, how are you today?" He asked.

"I'm fine, father, I came regarding those clients you told me about, I was going to wait until tomorrow, but I decided to come over." John breath out and relaxed his back on the couch, both his legs crossed.

Mr GU raised his brows trying to remember what they talked about. "Oh yes, the client's from Italy…." He was cut off.

The sound of a breaking news got his attention, and he quickly diverted his gaze from his son to the screen.

Sharon's interview from earlier was a trending news, the headline for today's news in the entire City.

He watched the interview attentively, amazement wash through him, he has never seen someone defend his son whenever he is being ridiculed, talk more of a lady.

Because of his illness and disfigurement, most ladies look at him with disdain, but not that he ever cared.

His son is someone who's ruthless and horrible even with his disfigurement, he never cared about anyone or anything.

He turned to his son with a smile, and at that moment he liked Sharon instantly.

"Where is she? Why didn't you tell me about this?" He asked his son and turn to the bodyguards in the house. "All of you, quickly go get her and take her back to the villa." His authoritative tone echoed in the room.

All the guards in the living room scamper out of the mansion and head out, then he turned back to his son.

"You should head back home now, you have to be there when she returns." Mr GU said to his son, with a smile etched on his face.

He has found a daughter-in-law, and he would do anything to keep her, he thought.

"Okay father." John responded without protesting and exited the mansion.

An hour later, Sharon was taken back to the villa by Ann, the housekeeper.

Ann is John's housekeeper, she has been working for him since before he had an accident and got disfigured, she's not scared of him.

Ann led Sharon to the villa, even though Sharon was terrified. With slow steady stride, Sharon trails behind Ann while they stride into the villa, her fear was seeing johns, disfigured face.

They stride into the living room, and Ann offered Sharon a seat.

"Wait here, let me go and prepare you a tea and snacks." Ann said and set to march on her heels, but Sharon stopped her.

She held her hands in hers and gulped, then mustered the courage to speak. "Did you say Mr GU, I mean the chairman asked to bring me back to the villa?" She asked with a clench toe.

Ann flash her a small smile and nod her head.

"Yes, the chairman asks to bring you back to the villa, now wait here I will quickly get you a tea, I will be right back."

Before Sharon could utter another word, Ann was already out of sight.

Sharon was scared of meeting the chairman, she thought she was going to have dinner with him, that was why he asked to bring her back to the villa.

And the thought of it made her want to cry in her heart. She has also heard rumor about him, how cold-hearted and powerful he is.

She snuggled her small self close to the couch and waited for Ann to return.

Minutes later, Ann came back with some snacks and a cup of tea and place it on a stool beside her.

"Here, have these while you wait for the boss, I'm sure the boss is on his way back home." Ann informed her, and blink her eyes.

She shuddered at the mention of his name, but quickly calmed her nerves. Ann excused herself and exited the villa.

A few minutes later, she heard footsteps, and fixated her gaze on the door. She came into view with Ann striding into the living room.

"The Boss is back." Ann said in excitement.

Sharon quickly stood up and hit her leg on the table, which made her stumble to the ground.
