VERONICA GONE?

WRITER’S POV

By the time Lawrence got back home with Bianca, Veronica was gone.

Scared, he searched the whole house and called out to her but she was nowhere to be seen. He dashed to the wardrobe and found her clothes and bags still intact. Nothing that belonged to her was out. Just in case, he searched for his stuff too and also found none of it missing. He tried her line a number of times and it all said not reachable.

Bianca hissed loudly and scoffed. She was sitting in the sitting room with legs crossed. She just couldn’t understand why Lawrence was making such a fuss over a minor thing.

“She is an adult for hell sake!” She wanted to scream into Lawrence’s ears.

So many thoughts ran through Lawrence head as to where Veronica had gone off to. His heart was racing as the fear of Veronica leaving the house crept into him.

He dashed outside of the house to the servants’ quarters. Who knows she might be there. He hoped she was there but the servants around confirmed she never came to
