I drove my car straight towards Dad's office with clenched jaws and white knuckles.

This woman never leaves a single chance to piss me off. The fury in those chocolate orbs and the sharpness of that tongue of hers is driving me crazy. And definitely not in a good way. I might have killed her if she hadn't closed her door after saying those words.

I choked the steering wheel, thinking it's her neck, nearing Dad's office. Finally I'm going to get what's mine, what I deserve.

Parking the car, I climbed out and headed inside his building, only to meet with so many smiling faces.

As soon as I entered inside, a small blast happened, making me hault in my tracks.

"Surpriseeeeeeee" Everyone shouted together as the confetti rained on me, filling my hair and clothes.

I looked to find the whole office gathered In the office entrance. As they parted sideways, a big cake was revealed with ‘Congratulations’ written on it.
