“ He left?? “ I asked in disbelief.

“ I, er… yeah. For A week or more maybe. “ She explained further, hesitantly and I couldn't do anything except stare back at her.

“You were sleeping so he must n't have wanted to wake you up. “

She tried to explain and make the situation a little less embarrassing for me.

I scoffed mentally at myself and nodded towards Mary before taking a seat on the dining table. Eating the dinner in silence I stood up with my dishes.

“ I'll take them. “ Marry said before coming and taking the dishes from me.

“ Er, Marry!! Since I'm alone, can you stay the night?? “ I asked, making her turn and face me.

“ I'm really sorry Mrs. Brown but I've a two-year-old daughter at home. I can't leave her alone all night. “ She gave me an apologetic look.

“ Oh, it's alright. “ Saying that I headed back to my room and called Cally.

She picked up at the sixth ring and barked sleepily. “ Missing me already, bitch?? “
