Even after lots of protest from Mom and Dad, Christian arranged a nurse for Dad to take care of him twenty four seven. It was so heartwarming, seeing him having concern for Dad and treating him like his own.

So after Christian left for his office, Mom and I decided to go grocery shopping since Dad wasn't alone now. We were done in about an hour and decided to visit the nearest cafe for the coffee.

“ Are you sure we aren't forgetting anything?” Mom asked, sitting on the chair while her head was totally into the grocery bags placed into the car.

“ Arghh, Mom!! Do you want it in written that we bought every damn thing that you wanted?” I grumbled, tired of her asking the question constantly.
