Chapter 67

BIANCA’S POV

Bernard mentioned Richard and the girl’s relationship lasted a long but ended very badly. And with everything Mr Sam mentioned here about not knowing the reason they broke up, her disappearance and her parents, it was obvious the relationship ended badly. Richard must have done something.

“All this doesn’t make sense,” I said still trying to wrap my fingers around all this. “Yesterday at that coffee shop, I met a guy who said he was Richard’s classmate in high school.”

“Who?” His interest aroused. “The tall guy with the greasy brown hair that you were speaking with before I came?”

“Yeah,” I nodded, causing him to sigh. He did say he didn’t like Bernard that much. That he seemed desperate and mischievous, though I thought otherwise.

“I know you don’t like him that much…”

“I don’t like him at all,” he cut in.

“I know but hear me out first. He mentioned something of this kind yesterday.”

“Really?” His brows squished in questioningly. “What did he say?”
