BIANCA’S POV

“Hello B,” an innocent guarded voice sounded from the phone speaker.

“Hey girl,” I said, managing to hide the disappointment in my tone. It was the first time Thea and I were speaking since my wedding, so I didn’t want her to think I was sad from my voice. She will become worried and will definitely tell my parents about it. So I had to keep my tone up and lively. “How are you and mum and dad doing?”

“We’re doing fine,” she said. “Thank you for asking, what about you and your husband?”
