Chapter 5 - Why is the Female Treated Differently

Leon said Ceasar’s speed is gifted by his species, but Leon himself doesn’t seem to be any slower than Ceasar.

Very soon, I see lights one after the other brightened up the forest. I can finally see my surrounding in here.

We are now officially entered the military base.

Under the lights, there are easily over 20 large tents randomly placed around the giant trees. I can tell that they were set up properly but not in any specific organized way, as if they only care if there is a shelter above them when they fall asleep at night.

I would think that a military base is much neat, tidy and organized. But in here, it is definitely not the case.

I almost feel bad to say this but this base looks like those parks that are filled with homeless people’s tents.

But what else could I ask for? A luxury hotel with king beds, feather duvet and pillows, and hot showers?

I am already thankful enough.
