Sylvain, the mysterious new guy from school, was the one who stepped down from the car. He wore a black jacket over a black T-shirt and black jean pants.

He had a necklace on his neck shaped like a crescent moon, which I hadn't noticed the first time we met.

"Don't you know you have to be more careful when walking on the road?" He suddenly asked, snapping me out of my trance.

I blinked awkwardly before turning my gaze to his eyes. He looked at me with an odd mix of amusement and curiosity.

My face heated up with embarrassment but I still managed to speak up. "And don't you know speeding on the road can get you in prison?"

Sylvain arched an eyebrow and scoffed as he stepped closer to me. I wanted to step back, I wanted to turn away and run the heck out of there because of the growing embarrassment I felt.
