I Belong To No One

For some reason, seeing how close this mysterious new woman clung to Sylvain made my blood boil.

Gods dammit, it wasn't just 'some reason '. It was the mate bond! How could Sylvain be so close to another woman when our mate bond existed?

My grip on the railing of the stairs, which I currently stood on, tightened as I glared daggers at the pair.

"Should I go confront them?" I muttered to myself while stealing glances once in a while from the corner of my eyes.

I jolted in fright as I swerved back to see who it was. But to my disappointment, it was Orion, standing behind me with a cheesy grin.

My brows creased as I grabbed his arm and pulled him to the side. "Do you want to cause a scene? What part of 'it's over' did you not understand?" I whispered while my gaze scanned through the hall nervously.

Luckily I'd chosen to stand upstairs where I could get a better view of everyone.
