Chapter 46 - Klaus POV

- But he was your grandfather. - Angel said to me, and I looked at him with a soft smile.

- He was a stranger to me. I practically didn't know him, and he was a traitor to the pack. Think no more about it. - I say with a smile.

Angel looked down at the drink that had landed in his lap. We drink in silence, and when we're done, I get up and hold out my hand to lead him to the table. Angel grabs my hand and lets go of the flowers on my bed.

We started to eat dinner, changing drinks according to each dish. We are werewolves. Alcohol doesn't do anything for us, but we can still test it. I was the one who served the meal. We spoke little; we simply exchanged glances and smiles. When dinner was over, we were happy, as if we had forgotten what separated us.

He gets up, and I offer him a digestif.

- We've had enough drinks; the best digestive is a walk. We can go for a walk through the pack. The sky looks pretty tonight.
