“Don’t worry about that right now Dremis,” Marcus said rolling his eyes. “Right now she doesn’t know anything, she doesn’t remember anything. So that is going to play a good part in our world for us.” He said looking at Elena. “I need more of your magic.”
“Alright, I can get some more,” Elena said walking away from Marcus. “What are you going to do to her?”“Don’t worry about that right now Elena,” Marcus said shaking his head. “I have a plan and this time I think it will work. I will convince her that Carlos and Misty are two people that are going to try and kill her.” Marcus said looking at Elena. “I need something that is going to make sure her memory doesn’t return, this will be a perfect ending to Angel’s quests, they will go on and forget about her, and we will have her and she will live her life out here, and we’ll see what happens.” He half-smiled.No one said anything, Dremis watched Marcus. He seemed calm for already having the Angels come to his door shortly after they found Anabel. Dremis walked over to the window. “You think this is going to work?” he said looking back at Marcus. “I mean are you going to try and bring Hecta back here again?”“No Dremis I am past that, I can make Anabel into the next Hecta, she just has to be willing to accept what I ask of her, which I don’t see being a problem seeing she doesn’t even know what is going on. She won’t know what is going on because I don’t want her thinking badly of us. I feel this is another chance at taking Heaven down.“I hope you know what you’re doing,” Elena said shaking her head. “You do know we still have a problem with Legion and Victor.”“I know we have issues with them, it doesn’t mean anything,” Marcus said getting up from the chair. “I don’t need to stress about this right now, she is sleeping and that is all I want right now.” He said looking at Elijah. “We need to make a run, we need to make sure those Angel brothers of yours don’t know she is here.”“Fine,” Elijah said. “I rather them not know she is here either, at least now I get to know who she is, and where I come from.” He said shaking his head. “What are we going to be doing?” he said looking at Marcus.“We need to find a new place to go for one,” Marcus said looking back at Dremis. “We also need more punch, and we have to go to the human world for that one.” He said shaking his head“Alright well, that should be easy enough,” Elijah said putting his hood on. “As long as there are no Angels there, it should be a pretty easy and out kind of thing.” He said looking at Dremis. “Are you coming or are you going to hang back?”“I’m going to hang back for a bit,” Marcus said looking around. “I have someone coming around and I think it’s important you not be around.”“Alright well I will find the robes and things, you have to go and see that wicked lady for the punch,” Elijah said shaking his head before he walked away.Marcus walked around the village, he hoped Victor would pop his head out just for a second. Marcus had something he wanted to show him, something that he had to do to him to get back for almost killing Anabel.“Looking for me?” Victor said appearing in front of some of the humans. “Scatter demons are here!” he growled, they ran into nearby homes.“I am,” Marcus growled. “I think you and I have some things we need to get out of the way. One you tried to kill Anabel and two you tried to kill me.” He said shaking his head.“If I wanted to kill you Marcus Legion would have let me.” He said shaking his head. “Have you seen Anabel? Legion is trying to find her so we can start a final war.” He said walking towards Marcus.“Why does everyone seem to think I know where she is?” Marcus said shaking his head. “I told the Angels the same thing, I don’t know where she is, and even if I did I’m not going to turn her over to anyone just so she can be tortured all over again.”“See and Legion had some high hopes for you.” He said shaking his head. “You won't know it, but we will come for her, and when we do you’ll never get to see her again.” He laughed.“You’re not taking her, you’d have to kill me first,” Marcus said shaking his head. “I don’t think you can kill me even if you wanted to.”“You’ve grown weak brother,” Victor said shaking his head. “Like I said there isn’t anything you are going to be able to do to stop us from taking her and doing what we want with her.”Marcus didn’t say anything, Victor disappeared after that. Marcus walked to the old witch that he bought the punch from prior. Walking through the door, he was greeted by the old woman.“I thought I’d never see you again?” she growled.“Well so did I, but now I’m going to need more of that punch, she came back to me, but she is broken.” He said shaking his head. “I am hoping your magic will help me save her mind before she loses it.”“Well I cannot help you with anything but the punch, you have to make sure she drinks it three times a day if you want to aid her mind into remembering who she is.” She said handing him a container from the fridge. “If you need more you’re going to have to give me a little time, otherwise I will mess it up and it might not help you anymore.” She said walking around the counter. “You better go the Angels will be coming soon, they always make sure I haven’t helped you.” She said laughing.“Don’t worry I’ll make sure you know ahead of time in case the Angels want to start some issues with you as well.” He said taking the container and heading to the door “Thanks.” He said before leaving the store.Elijah meant him in the middle of the village, he had some clothes for Anabel. “Finally, geese I thought I was going to have to leave without you.” He said shaking his head. “Let’s get out of here before we die.”“Fine.” Marcus rolled his eyes, they both appeared at the same time at the house. “Fine Dremis.” He said walking into the kitchen.“Well, you’re back earlier than I expected,” Elena said shaking her head. “Your human hasn’t been up yet, so I’ve been cooking and making snacks for her.” She said looking away from Marcus.“Good, we need to figure out some stronger magic, I have a feeling Legion is going to come and try and take Anabel away from us.” He said shaking his head. “I want to make Legion pay, but I already know there is no way I can take him on. Damn it I wish Hecta was here, she could have been able to take care of him without us having to worry anymore.”“Well let me look around the books and see if I can find something that we can use to make sure Legion doesn’t come here,” Elena said without looking at him. “Or you can allow him to take her and see what he wants to do to her. Maybe he’ll bring Hecta back and this time the human won't be able to fight anymore.” She said finally turning to look at Marcus. “I mean it’s just a suggestion, it might help us.”“No, because I know Legion, he will send her here to kill all of us.” He said shaking his head. “I don’t want to put her through anything, if anything is going to happen to her I’m going to be the one that does it.”“Does what?” Anabel said walking into the kitchen, Elijah and Dremis behind her.“Nothing,” Marcus said shaking his head. “Something happened at the market, and I am torn about what to do.” He said looking at Anabel. “Everything is okay, I even got you some clothes.”Elijah pulled the robes from the closet and brought them into the kitchen. “Well I had your son pick them, so if you don’t like the colors we can have them changed.” He said looking at the different colored robes.“Well the humans didn’t have much of a selection, I got what I thought she might like,” Elijah growled. “Although this one is my favorite.” He said picking a blue and silver robe.“I like that one too,” Anabel said touching it. “If you don’t mind I’d like to get myself cleaned up and I’ll be right down?” he said looking at Marcus for permission to take a shower.“Go ahead, you know where the shower is,” Marcus said waiting for her to leave so he could talk to his family a little more about what he was going to do about their new threat. He knew he wouldn’t win, but he had to take Anabel to a new realm, otherwise, Legion would find her and would take her from him.“What are you thinking about Marcus?” Elena said sitting at the table with him.“What I’m going to do.” He said without looking at her. “Something tells me I’m going to have to get the angels involved, I’m just not sure when or how.”“Well, for starters do you think they would help us find the Legion and destroy him, or do you think they will take Anabel and just allow us to suffer against Legion?”“That’s where I am not sure.” He said shaking his head. “Anabel is both our problems, but Legion is only mine.”“Well, that’s where you need to create a problem with Legion and the Angels.” She said shaking her head. “It’s not that hard, if you want I can show you just the way to do it?”“Um no, Elena,” Marcus said getting up from the table. “I’m going to go and talk to Anabel and see if she is remembering anything yet, the punch should help.” He said getting a glass of punch before making his way to her room.Marcus walked into Anabel’s room, she was still in the shower. He would wait and see what she had to say. He paced back and forth near the window in her room. When he heard the water turn off, he sat down on the bed and waited for her.The bathroom door opened, and Anabel used the towel to dry her hair, and she almost jumped out of her skin when she saw Marcus sitting there. “Um hi?” she said narrowing her eyes. “I didn’t know you were waiting for me.”“Don’t worry I wasn’t waiting long.” He lied. “I wanted to talk to you about what you remember before we meant in the cave.”Anabel thought about it for a moment, she could make up stories to make him happy, but truly she didn’t remember anything. “I don’t remember anything.” She said shaking her head.“You don’t remember the Heaven vs. Hell war? Or the rituals?” he said waiting for her to start screaming at him because she remembered what he did to her.Anabel thought about it for a few more minutes, “no I don’t remember anything, rituals what’s that?” she said almost jumping on the bed. “There was a war I was in?” she said shaking her head.“Well never mind.” He said shaking his head. “I told you a story about all of this before you ran away and lost your memory.” H
“I wouldn’t do it pet,” Victor growled. “You know you’re going to lose whether you like it or not.” He said shaking his head. “We have plans for her now that we know Hecta could take an Angel, Legion wants her for even darker things.” He said showing his teeth.“Oh please,” Dremis said shaking his head. “You know you’re not going to win this, so you might as well give it up.” He said charging him, Victor countered him throwing him into the wall next to Anabel.Dremis reached for Anabel, but Victor pulled her away from him.“Carlos get to Anabel now!” Dremis growled charging Victor again.Carlos saw Anabel, he let go of the demon he was fighting, he quickly ran to Anabel, and then to the two. “Portal now James.” He growled watching for demons coming toward them.James summoned a portal, and Carlos was the first one through. “Oh my God, you’ve found her!” Misty said running over to him, Carlos walked into the living room and laid her on the table.“Yeah, Marcus didn’t lie this time.” He
“This is Amelia.” Misty said looking at Carlos. “Michael asked her to come and help me with some of the magic I’m going to have to do on Anabel to get her to remember only what we want her to.” She said looking down at the book. “So I think this is the spell.” She said pointing to it so Amelia could read it.“That might be it, but you’re going to need the help of a demon, do you know a demon that might help you guys?” she said looking at both Misty and Carlos.“Well we do know a demon, but I’m not sure if he would be willing to help us, but he might be.” Misty said shaking her head. “But he let us take Anabel, so he might be willing to help restore things.” She said looking at Carlos. “That means you and the twins need to go to his realm and see if he wants to help us?”“I don’t know if he is even there, we left him fighting Legion.” Carlos said clearing his throat. “But I guess we can check.” He said getting to his feet. “I need to see if Michael is done with the twins, if he isn’t I
“There you are.” Misty said shaking her head. “You like disappeared, we didn’t know where you were. I asked Tristan if you were with Anabel, he said no.” she said plopping down on the chair. “What are you making I’m starving.” She said trying to see what he was doing.“It’s going to be a little while since I have to start over.” He said shaking his head. “I was with Anabel, I was hoping she would have woken up so at least we could chat before she saw everyone else.” He said without looking at Misty. “But she didn’t wake up, so I came in here to see where everyone else was.” He said looking at her.“Well Elena went home, the twins are back and well I was in my room. I smelled something cooking and came in here to see you.” She said getting up from the table. “Do you want some help with that?” she said looking down at what he was doing.“No, but you can fill me into what you guys are going to do now that we don’t have Marcus to help us.” He said throwing some food in a dish and turning
Anabel opened her eyes, she was in a room she thought she knew but she wasn’t sure. Getting out of bed, she walked to the door the hallway was long and dark, there were a few rooms here and there. Looking back into the room, she didn’t know if she had anything with her in the room, at the moment she didn’t care.Walking down the hallway, she found another door. Pushing it open, it leads to a big room with some people there. Most of them looked like they were out of their mind, and she didn’t want to get near them.Anabel walked to the desk, but the lady didn’t even look at her. Again she thought she knew the lady, but wasn’t sure. “Hey excuse me, where are we?” she said looking at the room, it looked like a Doctor’s office, only she didn’t know why she would be there.“Sit down and we will call you when we are ready for you.” She said without looking up at Anabel. “Please back away.” She said looking up. “I will call for security if you do not back up.”“Alright.” Anabel said shaking
A few hours seemed to pass by, Anabel was bored out of her mind, she was hoping Carlos wasn’t outside her room. She wanted to walk around by herself and think more about what she was missing.Slowly opening the door, she looked in both directions, but he wasn’t in the hallway. Her stomach hurt worse this time, but she didn’t want to call for Carlos, she would find the food herself.Walking down the hallway, it opened up to a bigger room, people were eating, Anabel could smell the food cooking, she followed the smell until she came to a small café.“Hi can I help you?” a small man came around the corner. “Oh, you are Anabel.” He said pointing at her. “Carlos asked me to prepare one of your favorites.” He said handing her a tray. “I just finished cooking it, so it’s nice and warm.”“Thanks.” She said taking the tray and walking over to an empty table. She slowly ate her food, she knew what it was. It was some kind of Mexican meal, she wasn’t picky.“So how’s your food?” Carlos said sitt
“Legion is the leader of Hell.” He said taking in some air. “We need to stop him before he does start another war, and the four horsemen and all of that.” He said looking at the door. “Do you want to take a walk so I can show you around like I was supposed to but you didn’t even give me a chance?”“How long are we going to have to stay here?” she said walking towards the door. “I guess we can take a walk, I hope we’re not here that long.”“We’re here until they’ve decided you have enough of your memory back so we can continue on our journey, you were in a contract with Heaven to aide them with whatever they need help with.” He said shrugging his shoulders. “Maybe we’ll be leaving sooner than you think.” He said trying to make Anabel feel better.“Well the sooner we’re out of here, the better I will feel,” Anabel said walking with him down the hall.“So you know this is where you get your food, so no more hungry stomach.” He said half smiling, “If you go down that hallway there is a li
Anabel walked down some more hallways, she found another door it lead to a big area with red everywhere, there were different creatures and evil-looking people all around her. She tried to go back through the door, but it locked behind her.“You can’t go through that door if they don’t let you,” Marcus said walking closer to Anabel. “Do you remember me?” he said stopping in front of her.“Yeah, I remember you.” She said shaking her head. “I just don’t know where I am, or if I should even be here.” She said looking around. “Can you help me get out of here?”“Of course, I can,” Marcus said extending his hand for her to take it. “All you have to do is take it, and we’ll be out of here and somewhere nice I promise.”“Stop!” Michael said appearing near them. “You know you cannot take souls out of here.” He said shaking his head at Marcus. “Don’t even try it, she is here to learn something, we don’t need your help since you didn’t want to help.” He said pulling Anabel away from Marcus.“I k
