Ch. 106 Eavesdropping

Kat’s POV

Thoughts about my mates were leaving me hot and bothered. Looking at my phone, I noticed it was near lunchtime. We were supposed to meet in the dining room for lunch but I decided to go look for them a bit early. I wasn’t all that hungry, for food anyway. Maybe if I caught them before they left their office, I could convince them to take me upstairs for some sexy time instead.

As I neared their office, I could hear them talking in hushed voices. That alone was odd because I knew their office was soundproofed. I took a few steps closer and could see a sliver of light shining through the crack in the door. What was so urgent that they didn’t even check to make sure the door was closed? I took a few steps back, staying close enough to hear them clearly but hoping I was far enough that they wouldn’t hear my heartbeat or catch my scent.

I knew it was shameless to eavesdrop but I couldn’t help myself. I could tell from their tone of voice that something had them really concerne
