Arya
It took me a moment to remember where I was when I woke. I open my eyes to move at my average speed but soon feel pain in my knee and ribs, a sharp reminder of what happened yesterday.
“Arya, are you okay?” the voice made me jump until I remembered it was Kyson next to me, “I forgot I hurt myself,” I whined.
“You need to be careful, sweetness. Where were you trying to go?” he asks, “The bathroom. I just need to take my time.” I slowly get up from the bed, trying to ignore the throbbing in my knee. Kyson soon appears at my side, wrapping his arm around me, “I will help you get there,” he smiles.
The last thing I wanted was for him to help me to the bathroom, but I didn’t have a choice. I am sure it will ease the more I move around today, and I can make it to the bathroom myself. Kyson waits outside the bathroom for me. I go as quick as I could, and he helped me back to the bedroom.
“How about I make us some breakfast and coffee. Then I can give you a hand to get ready and help you outside. We can enjoy the fresh air, or I can leave you to write,” he suggests, “Sure. Though, I will manage to get ready myself.” I giggle.
It will take time and effort, but I am fine with it. It is better than having him help dress me. It is only my knee, so I will manage. It would be different if it were an arm or something, it would make it more difficult.
“Okay, what do you fancy?” he questions, “Hmm, yoghurt and fruit sounds good.” I smile. I don’t tend to eat too much at breakfast. Kyson disappears to make us breakfast.
I check my phone in case of any texts or calls, but nothing which is good. I set it aside, taking the small first aid kit from the drawer, cleaning and redressing my knee, and cleaning my hands with wipes and sanitiser.
“Breakfast is served, my lady…” he chuckles, coming into the room, a large tray in his hand. He sits it on the bed before climbing in next to me, “I bet you didn’t expect to be spending your first few days here looking after someone.” I laugh, taking a bite from my breakfast.
“You aren’t just someone, Arya. It wasn’t what I expected, but I don’t mind.” He smiles, and we turn our attention back to our food. It is a comfortable silence between us as we ate.
“Where would you like to sit? On your porch or down by the lake?” he asks as he gathers the dishes up, “The porch will do. I can’t wait until everything heals so I can go venture further afield.” I pout.
I hope it wouldn’t take too long to heal, or I may go insane. I just need to focus on my writing to keep my mind off the pain. Once we finish up, Kyson takes the empty dishes away. I decided to try to make a move to get myself ready. Luckily, my underwear is in the case closest to me since I haven’t even had a chance to unpack. I slide it as close to me as possible and carefully bring it up onto the bed. I open it and realise everything I need is in the case, bonus! I raid through it, finding one of my summer dresses because it will be easier to put a dress on rather than shorts or leggings. I retrieve everything I need, keeping myself hidden under the covers and stripping my nightwear off. At least if Kyson comes in, he won’t see anything, and I can tell him to leave until I have my clothes on.
I take my time, item by item, cautious on how I move for the sake of my ribs and make sure not to rub anything against my sore knee. I manage my underwear before Kyson comes back.
“Do you need help?” he asks, looking over at me, “No, I am okay, just my dress left, and I am sorted. Can you, um, turn around, please?” he nods, turning his back to me. I push the covers away, sliding my dress over my head, “You can turn back around.” I announce.
I sat up, and he came to stand in front of me, helping me to my feet, “Do you want me to get the zipper?” I nod in response, and he comes behind me. I hold onto the bedside cabinet to steady myself.
His rough, warm fingers brush the skin of my back, causing me to shudder below his touch. He takes the zip between his fingers, pulling it up. I could feel the heat on my skin anywhere his fingers brushed, “All done, gorgeous,” he whispers, his warm breath fanning below my ear, and a soft moan escapes from my lips. Kyson chuckles from behind me, and I glare at him over my shoulder. He smirks and shrugs, “Come on, let’s get you outside, then I will gather everything you need.” He smiles.
He slips his arm around me, holding me up, and I hobble outside. Kyson safely makes sure I am sitting on the seat, using another one for me to rest my leg upon, “Thank you.” I find it sweet that he is looking after me, especially since he doesn’t have to.
He went back in to get everything I needed, “I am going to nip to my cabin for a quick shower and a change of clothes. Will you be alright for half an hour?” he questions, “Yes, I will be fine.” Kyson kisses my cheek before running over to his place. My cheeks flush as I watch him walk away.
He is too damn sexy and sweet. Maybe having him around with help inspire me! I snap out of my thoughts, open my laptop and find the document I need, staring at the screen. I sigh, take a deep breath and try to snap into writer’s mode. I need something to do until I can move around, and hopefully, writing my next book will be the thing.

“Oh wow, you seem to be on a roll,” Kyson’s voice makes me stop typing and look up. Has it been half an hour already? I had written over five hundred words. Once I started, everything seemed to fall into place.
“Hmm, yeah…” I breathe out when I realise he is only in shorts, “Do you want me to leave you to it, sweetness?” I shake my head, my eyes trailing over his half-naked body. My tongue dips out of my mouth and runs along my lips.
Kyson laughs, snapping me out of it, and I finally make eye contact with him again, “Sorry,” I blush, “I don’t mind.” He winks at me, taking the seat next to me.
I need to pull myself together, but with him, I can’t help it. I can’t deny my attraction to him, even if he isn’t what I want or looking for right now. I swear I wonder what I would do if I weren’t hurt. A part of me wants to jump his damn bones, but it is best I don’t. I have had enough complications in my life recently. I don’t need to add him into the mix.
“So, do I get first read when you finish it?” he flashes his best smile at me, “No!” I reply quickly. I can only imagine his reaction if he reads the smut I write.
“Why not?” he pouts, “Because you will think I am shocking with some of the things I write,” I laugh, “Oh, trust me, no, I will not. I am a horny, kinky fuck; nothing can shock me, kitten.” He says proudly.
I squeeze my thighs together and whimper at his words, “You are?” I ask curiously, “Yes, very…” he trails off. Now the thoughts running around in my head are out of control. I can only imagine what he is into.
“Oh,” I choke out, “But that is a conversation for another day. You should concentrate on your writing. I will sit here, quietly, promise.” He has a smug look on his face. He knows fine well what is going on in my head.
“Okay,” I whisper, turning my attention to my screen.
I feel I am going to be distracted today with him hanging around. Maybe I should tell him to leave. No, I can’t, that would be rude. I will deal with it!
Kyson “Ahh, I am so excited to get into the lake,” Arya gushes. Her injuries were finally healed enough for her to go swimming after a week. She is still a little sore, but not enough to stop her from going out.I am happy we can get out and about together, but I had enjoyed taking care of her the last week, which is surprising since these days, I am usually a selfish bastard. Spending so much time with each other has seemed to have built tension up, not only that but a connection too. I haven’t felt a connection with someone in a long time. It was nice. I hadn’t made a move because it would have felt wrong since I was looking after her.“Me too!” I smi
Arya I moan and watch Kyson closely as his lips trail down my body. They felt good on my skin. I can feel the heat rise from my body with each one. He disappears between my legs, kissing over my bikini bottoms. I gasp, arching up from the bed. I am still in a bit of pain, but I don’t care right now.He takes the tie on my bottoms in his hands, looking up at me with lustful eyes, “Can I?” he breaths out. I nod eagerly, and he quickly removes them from my body, throwing them on the floor. He runs his callous fingers over my folds, and my head falls back, “Mmm, wet already, gorgeous?” he breaths out, moving up to circle my clit.Fuck! I
Kyson I reach for Arya the second I wake, realising I am in my bed alone. Where is she? And when did she leave? I sit up, running my fingers through my hair. I looked around, noticing her clothing and shoes were still in my bedroom, so she couldn’t have gone far.I go to search for her, seeing her out in on the decking in one of my tees. I approach, and the closer I get to her, I realise she is on the phone.“Shawn, I told you to leave me the hell alone. No, I am not telling you where I am,” she snaps. I can hear in her voice she is upset. Arya doesn’t say anything for a moment. I assume whoever Shawn is, he is talking, “No! I hate yo
Arya Kyson and I had found the perfect spot. The view is beautiful, and the atmosphere peaceful. It is what we need today. I am trying to forget about my ex and his calls. He isn’t worth it.“Would you like a glass of wine, sweetness?” he asks, “Yes, please.” I smile, resting back on my hand, closing my eyes and drawing in my breath for a moment and letting it out. When I open my eyes, Kyson is holding the plastic glass out for me, “Thank you.” I take it from him, taking a sip. He leans in, pecking my lips.We fall into a comfortable silence, taking a sip of our drinks, “Are you hungry?” I nod, ready for food after our long walk to get here, “Fruit or sandwiches?”I thought on it for a moment, deciding on fruit. Kyson took the tubs of fruit from the basket, setting them in front of us, and we took one each. I dig straight into the strawberries, groaning the second I take the first bite. They are so sweet and juicy, I couldn’t help myself.“Easy, kitten,” Kyson chuckles, “I am only eat
Kyson I wake, and it is still dark outside. I reach over to hug Arya, but she isn’t there. I glance at the digital clock next to the bed, and it reads four o’clock. Where is she at this time? I switch the bedside light on so I can see where I am going and head to search for her.I check the bathroom, but she isn’t there. I work my way through the house, finally finding her in the living area. Arya is sitting on the floor, her back to the sofa. She has a blanket wrapped around her, typing away.“Baby girl, what are you doing up at this time?” I ask. She lifts her hand, signalling one minute. I get the hint, not saying another word, sitting down next to her.“And another chapter is done,” she says excited, closing her laptop and turning her attention to me, “Sorry. I couldn’t sleep, so I decided to come do some writing which was a great idea because I just wrote two thousand words in the space of an hour and a half.” Arya has the biggest smile on her lips when she says.“Awesome! Go yo
Arya How the hell did Shawn even know to find me here? I storm over to the door, Kyson stepping out of the way.“I thought maybe we could talk, sort things out,” Shawn finally answers me. I laugh loudly, “And what the hell makes you think I want that? I am done with you! How did you even know where to find me?” I am fuming. He has no right to show up here.“Can we talk in private, please?” he asks, glaring at Kyson, “No! We have nothing to talk about.” Shawn reaches out for me, but I swat his hand away, “Don’t touch me.”“Arya, please, baby? I am sorry. I fucked up. I miss you. Please, give me another chance.” He begs.I would never give him another chance, even if I didn’t have a thing going on with Kyson, “I don’t miss you. I don’t love or want you anymore.” I hiss.I see his demeanour change. A wave of anger fills his eyes, his jaw clenching, “So what you are choosing this idiot over me? Come on, let’s not waste time here. You will forgive me. You always do.” He chuckles. It was n
Kyson Arya had been a little quiet most of the day, and I knew it was because of what happened this morning, even if she would deny it if I asked. We had a lovely lunch. Now we were having coffee before stopping to get everything we needed before heading back.“I will be back in a minute, just going to the bathroom,” I announce, “Okay, I am going to order another coffee. Do you want one?” she asks.“Yes, please.” I peck her lips from across the table before standing and walking away. I wasn’t going to the bathroom. That was a lie. I am going to nip across the street to the cute vintage jewellery store.A beautiful dreamcatcher necklace caught Arya’s eye when we passed it earlier, but she refused to go inside and get it. Why I don’t know, she liked it, and it wasn’t too expensive either. I will but it for her, try to cheer her up a little.I hate how her ex has ruined her day. He has no damn right! She deserves much better, not like I am remarkably better than him, but I wouldn’t do t
Arya Kyson and I were sitting by the lake, enjoying a glass of wine under the stary night sky, the moon reflecting onto the water. It was breathtaking. We hadn’t been for our swim yet, but I would be going in soon.“I could just stay here forever,” I sigh, “You and me both, beautiful.” He agrees. I dread going back to real life, but I still have some time before that happens.I rest my head on his shoulder, taking everything in. No matter how many times I have been here, the place still impresses me. Kyson’s arm slips around my shoulder and kisses the top of my head.I glance up at him to find him looking at me, neither of us speaking. He seems to be searching for something in my eyes with his. He opens his mouth to speak but closes it, shaking his head.“How about that swim?” he asks, pulling away and getting to his feet. I nodded, a little confused about what was going on. He strips down to his boxers, diving straight into the lake.I watch for him to come back up, “Are you coming
Kyson Arya pushes my back against the bed and swiftly rids me off my pants and boxers, tossing them on the floor. She moans when her eyes fall on my fully hardened cock. She licks her lips and dips her head down, flicking her tongue over the tip. I hiss and grip onto the bedding. Fuck I have missed her, everything about her, including her lips wrapped around my cock.Arya doesn’t hesitate to take me all the way in and starts to work her lips along my length.“Fuck, baby, that feels good,” I pant and slip my fingers into her hair. She moans against me and picks up her speed. She inches me out, running her tongue over the tip again and over the base before taking me back in. She is so damn good with her mouth. Arya holds my thigh, and I watch as her head bops up and down, her nails digging into the skin of my legs.My head falls back, and I can feel my climax already building.“I am close, baby,” I pant.Arya hums against me as her nails dig into my thighs. I fist the sheets under me, a
Arya I had managed to get an early flight to New York. It has brought me here six hours earlier than planned. Kyson has no idea; it will be a nice surprise for him. I also had another surprise for him. He is away today to meet a friend, so I plan to let myself into his apartment since I know where his spare key is. And when he comes home, I will be in nothing but a sexy red lace baby doll, panties, and heels. I have been craving him so badly since we have been apart. Yes, we have had phone sex and a video session, which were both hot as hell. However, it isn’t the same as being in the same place and being able to feel his touch, his kisses and him inside of me.I am in a cab on the way to his. I had a couple of hours to shower and prepare for him coming home. I had everything I needed in my case. I couldn’t wait to see him. I’ve missed him like crazy, but we don’t need to be apart again since I am here until he moves back with me. It will be amazing! Yes, it will take some adjusting,
Kyson I am back in New York at my apartment and have been for the last few days. I hated being apart from Arya. I have been miserable since returning because she wasn’t with me. I only have a couple more days left before she joins me here, and we can get things sorted for the move.I know we are moving fast. It has only been two months since we met again, even less time since we officially became a couple. It might seem crazy to some people, but for us, it feels right. That is all that matters. I won’t lie; the entire thing is freaking me out. I have never done well with change. I love Arya more than I have ever loved anyone, and because of that, I know everything will be okay, but I believe it to be natural to be scared.I honestly never thought I would fall in love with anyone again. I planned on staying single and screwing around, but Arya changed everything for me. One of the million reasons why I know she is the one for me. I don’t want anyone else, and if I ever lost her, then I
Arya We only have a week left of being at the cabin before we need to go back to our real lives. My book is nearly done! Which is amazing! It usually takes me longer to write, but I think this one was easier because of the experiences I’ve had this summer.I didn’t want to leave, but I didn’t have a choice. I would rather stay here with Kyson. Thankfully his psycho ex has stayed away. Apparently, she is engaged now to some guy she met a couple of weeks ago, so Kyson’s mom told us. As long as she stays away, I don’t care what she does with her life.Kyson is still sound asleep. I woke early to do some edits of my book and make us breakfast. We still haven’t discussed what our plan is when we leave here, but we need to. I want to do it today. We need a good place if we want this to work. I have never done the long-distance thing before, so I don’t know how we will cope with it. I know it works for some couples, but for others, it doesn’t.It takes over six hours from Oregon to New York
Kyson I am trying my best to stay calm on the way back. I am so fucking angry. How dare Lena show up to the cabin? She has no right. I made it clear I wanted nothing to do with her.I arrive at the cabins and spot Lena sitting in her. Arya was nowhere in sight. She must have headed inside. I pull in behind Lena’s car and jump out. I head towards the driver’s window and chap it. When Lena realises it is me, the biggest smile appears on her lips. What the hell is she smiling about? Does she honestly think I would be happy to see her?I step back to let her come out of the car. The second she does, she comes towards me.“Finally, you are home.” She gushes. She tries to close the space between us and kiss me. I quickly put my hand up and put a distance between us.“Back off, Lena. Why are you here?” I ask through gritted teeth.“To see you, silly. I was hoping we could talk since I am single now. Maybe try again?” she replies sweetly. Is this woman high?“No, we can’t talk. I am not inte
Arya I am sitting out on the front patio, writing. Kyson is away into town to stock us up for the week. I offered to go with him, but he insisted I stay. I did have writing to catch up on since we were away for a few days. My editor is expecting more chapters tomorrow. It is a lovely day, perfect for sitting outside. I had my iced tea and snacks. I would finish my book soon because I didn’t have much left to write. I will miss this place when I leave in a couple of weeks. I have no idea what Kyson and I are going to do once we leave. I am sure we can work it out.Kyson would be away for a few hours, so I plan on making the most of it. I take a sip from my glass before getting back to typing. It doesn’t take long for me to become lost in it. My fingers are flying across the keys. I love when I get into this mode.I only stop when I hear a car pull up. Surely Kyson can’t be back already? Unless he has forgotten something. I glance up, but I don’t recognise the vehicle. I haven’t seen i
Kyson I pull up outside Arya’s cabin. It is two o’clock in the morning. Our time away hasn’t been so bad. It had been good spending time with family. Not only that but to get some closure too.Arya had fallen asleep. She drove first, and then it was my turn. She crashed out an hour ago. I won’t wake her up. I park the car, grab our things first and put them into the cabin. I head back out, going around to the passenger’s side and opening the door. I undo her seatbelt and scoop her into my arms. Arya groans but doesn’t wake up and snuggles into my chest.I use my foot to close the door, locking it with the key and carry her inside, straight to her bedroom. I lay her down on the bed, slipping her shoes off. She is already in sweatpants and a tee, so she can sleep in them. I bring the covers over her and sit next to her on the side of the bed.I smile, pushing the hair away from her face, “Sweet dreams, my love.” I whisper, kissing her forehead.I took a moment to admire her. The light
Kyson It is the last round at the bar because the party is coming to an end. I am standing at the bar, waiting to be served. I had my talk with Gordon earlier. It went okay, and we have sorted things out the best we can, but it will never be the way it used to be. The trust and bond are lost we once had.“Hi.” I hear from next to me. I knew exactly who it was. Lena.I sigh and turn to face her, “Hey.” I reply casually.“Can we talk, please?” she asks softly.“Yeah, what do you want to talk about?” I didn’t want to talk to her, but I was curious about what she had to say.“Not here, somewhere a little more private.” She pleads.“No. We talk here or not at all.” I make sure I am firm because I am not going anywhere alone with her.I refuse to upset Arya because I would if she saw me disappear somewhere with only Lena. Lena didn’t look too happy with my suggestion, but she nodded. She steps in a little closer.“I am sorry for what I did. I made a huge mistake, Kyson. I know it has been
Arya We finally find Kyson’s mom sitting at a table with some other family members. I can feel someone watching after us, and I have a feeling who it is. I glance over my shoulder, and Lena is staring. I don’t know if the issue is she regrets what she did to Kyson or if she doesn’t like the fact that he is with someone else. Does she think he was going to spend the rest of his life pining after her? I only met her for a minute, but it was enough to work out I didn’t like her. She doesn’t seem to like me either, but I don’t give a damn. Kyson keeps me close as we approach the table. “Hello, mom.” He says softly. She quickly stops the conversation she was having, turns around and smiles brightly when she sees Kyson standing there. She jumps to her feet, rushing over to hug him tightly. He let go of my hand to hug back. “I have missed you, my boy.” She coos. “I missed you too, mom.” He replies sweetly. I smile at the interaction between them. When they pull apart, she turns her at
