"Hey, did you hear?"

"What?"

"Sylvia is arrested for attempted murder. But the police found out that she's afflicted with severe mental illnesses, so they chose to imprison her in an asylum with the best security measures. She can forget about leaving that place for the rest of her life."

Lucy nudged my shoulder with a smile. "Jo, everything's finally over!"

I patted her on the head smilingly as well. "Yeah. My darling Cher is finally safe."

"By the way, I heard Marcus left you a will. What does he want from you?"

The sight of Lucy looking so eager to hear the latest gossip amused me to no end. "He wanted me to bury him in a place that's closest to me. That way, it'd be easier for him to atone for his sins."

"Wow! What a shameless bastard! What makes him think he has the right to make such requests?"

Lucy gazed at me nervously, as though she was afraid that I might agree to Marcus' final request. "Hey! You mustn't—"

"Yes, yes, I know!" I cut her tirade off instantly. I didn't
