Alpha Farrell’s Pov

“I’m tired,” I groaned, stretching my hands from the book I was reading. My routine of giving Gabriella a cup of coffee in the morning had died down to the barest minimum.

“What do we do today?” Ora asked.

I let out a little sigh as I did a mental calculation of my schedule and what I could push away or trash completely. Not like Aiden wouldn’t inform me about its importance when I didn’t do something of value.

“I was thinking of going out for a race,” I said. The chair creaked as I pushed it backward, stretching fully until my joints popped and cracked. “Haven’t gotten the time to do that since the attack on Gabriella.”

“Since we found out she carried a child,” Ora corrected, letting out a little yawn.

I let out a little chuckle at his correction, heading out from my study. The room smelled nice from the wind blowing through the window. There was a little chill in the air that sent goosebumps around my arms.
