Chapter 24 Winter

Morning came too quickly. After my steamy night with my mate, I was completely worn out. I just wanted to sleep in my new comfy bed with Blake.

Blake is my mate. My Alpha mate. And I am to be his Luna.

It feels as though it is a dream, a dream I don't want to wake up from.

I learned of my family history, and I feel like a completely different person. It broke my heart to know my father was killed in a rogue attack instead of a drunk driver. My heart broke for my mom as I learned she had a wolf who died taking all of mom's pain and sacrificing herself so that I didn't grow up without parents.

I wish I would've known my mom's wolf. Just to give her a hug and tell her thank you.

Blake stirred in his sleep and I leaned over to kiss his cheek. "Good morning, my Alpha." I purred into his ear. Blake's eyes opened, smiling wide as he kissed my lips.
