Maya's P.O.V

The loneliness I felt was beyond anything I have ever felt. Before I knew it, my life changed significantly in very little ways, and in such a short period of time that it affected me more than I thought it would. Nobody brought up the conversation about Ethan again, nor dared to mention his name when I was around.

Instead of spending all-day around people, I've become more introverted every since our breakup. I spend most of my days flipping through textbooks and rewriting my notes.

One week prior to our exams, our teachers usually gave us free time in class to study, but everyone just procrastinated or talked amongst themselves. Nobody actually studied — except me.

Being someone that couldn't study in a loud environment, I've asked the teachers to let me go to the library to study, so it's become a routine now.

Just like every other day, I've headed to class for attendance before making my way to the library aka my second home.
