Chapter two

"Hello."

It was Dax the son of the Alpha. I wonder what he was doing here. Like I said before no one ever bothers me here. I guess I was wrong. 

"Hello, what are you doing here?" I asked maybe a little too snarky.

"Wow all I did was walk to my spot and your talking to me like that, what did I do to deserve your disdain already?" He said with a grin on his face.

"Sorry, I had come to my spot for some peace and didn't expect anyone to bother me." 

"I accept your apology, and this is my spot too and normally no one is here when I am either."

I just look at him, seeing him this close in person just makes my mouth drool. He is tall, broad shouldered, with brown hair and beautiful hazel eyes. No woman or man for that matter would be crazy not to either fancy him or want to be him.

He had never paid any attention to me before now though, as I was the weak child and not one designed for fighting, so would have been no interest to the next Alpha of the pack. I was not exactly beautiful either. Where he on the other hand had been trained to fight since he was three years olf and had turned into his wolf at the age of ten. The earlier they say the stronger your wolf is his Dad turned at the age of twelve so that means he will be stronger than his Dad is, he is one of the youngest to have ever turned. Yes I know alot about him as it was major pack news at the time and you couldn't get away from someone talking about it. where me, I havn't even turned yet. I still have my wolf Tilly talking to me but that is it.

She was the opposit of me she was quiet, shy and weak willed. I don't know how a wolf could be like that, I had thought all wolves were strong. I must have been staring at him this whole time, crap I close my mouth and look away quickly, but not before I saw the cocky look on his face. 

I start to walk out of the forest 

"Aurora, you are more than welcome to stay." 

I was shocked that he even knew my name. I turned and looked at him he must have seen the slight shock on my face. 

"It is my duty to know the names and faces of my future pack." He says answering my unasked question. 

I nod to him, not shocked that, that was the only reason he knew me. 

"No thank you, I wanted this place to myself to enjoy the flowers and to think." 

"To think about what." he asked

"That is none of your business." I replied snarky again.

"Ah back to the snarkiness, well what is your favourite flower?" 

"They don't have them here unfortunaly but Calla Lilies." I say and walk away back the way I came. 

I was feeling hungry now, so I decide to go to the local food joint and get me the biggest burger they have on their menu, that comes with chips and I order a latte to go with it, instead of my usual coke. 

I go find a little table to myself. I sit there waiting for my burger looking around at the other people here, sipping on my hot latte. They are mainly all wolves, just a few humans here, but they didn't know what we were. My burger comes and I couldn't wait to dig in.

I am sat at the table after just finishing the burger thinking it was a bad idea as my jeans were now digging into my stomach and I might need someone to roll me home I was that full.

As I was just sat there Dax walked in with his girlfriend Shanaya and his best friend Benson. He has his arm wrapped around her. It was obvious they were meant to be together she was the feamle beauty to his male beauty. Long blond hair half way down her back and piercing blue eyes and the perfect body. 

Benson was a huge arse, who used his brute strength to try get what he wants, he was always a big bully at school.  

Them walking in was my cue to leave. As I was walking past their table Dax stopped me by holding my arm. 

"You following me Aurora?" 

"If I am not mistaken I was here first so that would mean you are following me." I pulled my arm out of his hand and carried on walking away. Future Alpha or not I don't take no ones shit. 

As I walked away I could hear Shanaya saying "Who does she think she is, why on earth would you follow her, have you seen the state of her." I turn around at the same time Dax looks at me. I just walk away, thinking it best if I don't hit Shanaya when she could probably kick my arse. 

I txt Lisa and Benji

"Do you fancy sleeping at mine tonight. Film, popcorn and hotchocolate?" 

I got a reply in seconds off both of them 

"Be there." From Benji

"I am so in, on my way." Lisa replies

I smile knowing I had the best friends ever. 

I get home and get the popcorn in the microwave, as that is popping away in the background I pour some milk into a pan and wait for it to boil and stir in the chocolate and pour it into the three cups I had laid out. popcorn ready and in a bowl and hot chocolate steaming away, I go into the living room and place the big cushions and blankets on the floor. 

You see this is one of our traditions that we have been doing since we were little. I met Benji when I was six and he introduced me to to his friend Lisa and since then all three of us have been inseperable. My Mum and Dad used to do this for us and through out the years we started doing it ourselves. 

Lisa walked through the door first and plonked her bag on the floor and sat down on the cushions with me. 

"Yo girl." Lisa says

"Yo, Benji is on his way." I reply

Just as Benji walks through the door and dumps his bag right next to Lisa's and dives on top of us. Both of us playfully slapping at him to get off of us. 

"So what we watching and where is the popcorn?" Benji asks

"Trust you to want to know where the food is." I laugh back.

We spent the rest of the night watching more films, making more popcorn and hot chocolate and ordering pizza. I had to order a sepereate one as my favourite is ham and pineapple and Lisa and Benji thought I was disgusting for eating pineapple on a pizza. We fell asleep laid on the floor together.
