“Then, every omega could sit out the table with us, which isn’t appropriate, don’t you think , brother?” Agatha’s tongue was vicious as usual.
She couldn’t stand Lotta’s closeness.
“She has the point, Drake”, Mary agrees with her daughter, as usual.
Martin cleared his throat and caught.
“Lotta isn’t like other omega’s”, Alpha Martin said.
“And yet, you made her as one , father”, Agatha was ruthless.
“I made a mistake, just to please you and your mother”, he was embarrassed.
“Enough!” Drake’s strong voice made them in shock, even Lotta.
She just stood there, not knowing what to think, or feel anymore, all she knew was that she wanted to leave.
“Is that true, father?” Drake’s voice was calmer, but still firm and serious, just like his face.
“Yes, son, but you were there, it was before your 18 birthday”, Alpha Martin said.
“I thought she was doing it for other reasons, that you were trying to help her like you should, considering she is a daughter of your best warriors”, he stated, with a tone that no one wouldn’t confront.
“She didn’t want to fight”, Mary said.
“And she had no wolf, either”, Agatha said with a mocking tone.
Lotta’s eyes were glowing, and Drake noticed that.
He never took his eyes off her, even when he talked, he watched her every move.
“I appreciate your concern Mother, but that’s not your thing to deal with.”
“As Luna, you needed to think and do differently, and as for you , Agatha, you will speak when I told you to, otherwise, shut up”, he said calmly, but he was not calm at all.
He was furious.
His parents could understand what he was saying, but his sister refused.
She was mad, because, for her, it was humiliation, in front of a Lotta.
“Excuse me, I still have a lot of job to do”, Lotta said and tried to leave, but Drake stood up, and grabbed her hand to stop her.
His scent hit her like a shock, and through her body went a thousand little sparks, as she fainted.
“Mate”! Tessa was thrilled, but Lotta was looking at his black, shiny eyes like they betrayed her.
“Oh my God”, was all she heard, when she pushed him away and ran.
“Son, is that what I think it is?” Alpha Martin asked.
“Yes, Lotta is my Mate”, Drake answered.
Alpha was satisfied, in a way, he was relieved, just like Mary, because of their mistakes toward her, but Agatha was pissed, it was all over her face.
For her, it was a big blow, that Lotta was better than her, in everything, and she hated that, and now, she will be the future Luna, and she couldn’t allow it.
Even if she must sell her soul to the devil himself.
She was at her favorite place, near the fountain, and he knew that he would find her there.
“You shouldn’t run away from me, Mate”, she heard his strong, calm voice.
“You knew!”
“All this time, you knew, from that same night here, you knew”, her voice sounded disappointed.
“Yes”, he said.
“You are cruel, just like you were then, you haven’t changed, not even a bit!”
“Reject me, so we can all continue with our lives”, she said to him.
“Why would I do that?” He asked, confused.
“Ok, then I will.”
“I, Lotta Verson...“She didn’t finish, because he put his hand over her mouth.
“Don’t make me mark you right here, right now, because, in this way, it could be more painful than it should”, he hissed.
She was shocked.
He let her go and caressed her soft hair.
“What do you want?” She asked him.
“You.”
“I want you as my Luna”, he simply answered, like it was a normal thing to him.
“Well, that wont happened”, she answered fast.
“Are you sure?”
“I still remember that night here, when you moaned just from my touch”, he teased her.
“I was stupid, I guess”, she was trying to stay calm, but she was shivering, especially because he was right.
“I can make it happen”, he was serious now.
“Don’t you dare to threaten me”, she was hissing at him now.
“I do not threat, I made things happen Lotta”, he said.
“Just like it wouldn’t be good if something would happen to your friend Viktor and you won’t be able to ee him again”, he said.
“You wouldn’t dare!” She said.
“Try me, and you’ll see how far I can go, and how far you can’t”, his voice was cold.
“You are cruel man “, she said with disappointment.
“No Lotta, I just want what is mine, and that is you”, he stated with a hoarse voice.
“You think you know all about me”, she said more like a statement.
“But I do know everything about you", he said.
“The only thing I didn’t know is that my father made you into an omega, which will change soon, and some people will need to answer for that to me”, he stated.
“I can’t believe, you are spying on me for all this time!” She was furious.
“What the hell is wrong with you?”
“With me is nothing wrong”, he answered.
“If you thing you are going to leave, forget it.”
“This pack has everything you need, even a college, so don’t even think to leave me, because I will find you at the end of the world, and when I do, I won’t be so nice as I am now”, his voice sounded like a whisper but in her mind, it was like a thunder.
She couldn’t say anything, because he knew everything.
“yes, I know you transformed, I felt your wolf tonight.
“Reth will love her, what’s her name?” He asked, leaving her stunned.
Now she could tell that he did know everything he said and that it would be crazy if she tried to run because he meant every word he said, she knew it.
Not to mention that he also knew about Viktor, which means he knew she was training with him, and because of that, he thought that she was the pack’s warrior.
Viktor was her best and only friend and she won’t allow anything bad to happen to him, no.
The only question was, who was spying for Drake?
