“I don’t think that anything will change if Alpha or Luna finding out what has Agatha done”, Lotta said.

“What do you mean it won’t?” Victor asked.

“She’s done something awful to you, it doesn’t matter what’s her title, she has no right, and she needs to pe punished.”

“You are damaged for good!” Viktor was pissed.

“Oh, please, for them I’m just a worthless omega”, she was bittered.

“You know that’s not true, and you had a choice, damn it, Lotta, you still do!”

“No matter what I do, what I I’m, Agatha won’t let me be, how can’t you understand that?” She was trying to explain.

“You worth much more than she, especially now, when they see what you are”, Viktor said.

“No!” She yelled.

“No one mustn’t know, I forbid you to tell them!”

“Why?”

“Because you won’t stay here that long?” He found her weak spot.

“If you’re my friend, you will understand.”

“I’m your friend, and I’ll always will be, but I don’t understand Lotta.”

“You are the best warrior I know, much stronger than me, and healer also, this pack needs you, I need you in my life”, he said.

“I don’t know what I’m any more”, she said with a broken voice.

“You need time, maybe “, he said calmly.

“Mabe”, she said quietly.

The music and loud cheering were heard from the pack house, which was a sign that celebrating had begun and that Drake was there.

They looked at each other, significantly.

If she shows up there now, it will be strange and Agatha will have her suspicious, if she doesn’t Alpha will.

If she runs into Drake, she will have an anger attack or worse.

Either way, it wasn’t good, and Victor needed to be there.

“I think you should be there”, Viktor said to her.

“Why are you hate Agatha so much?“Lotta asked him, out of the blue.

“What are you talking about, I don’t hate no one”, he said surprised by her question.

“Is she your mate then?”

Victor took a deep breath, and sat on the ground, looking somewhere far.

It was like he was thinking about something and Lotta looked at him, trying to figure it out.

“My mate is dead Lotta.

She died in the last fight with the rogue’s attack.

She was the enemy.

Maybe that could be changed, but I was there too late, and couldn’t help her, so...”

“Anyway, the answer to your question is no, Agatha is not my mate, at least so far as I know”, he finished.

“I’m so sorry, I didn’t know, forgive me”, she said with sympathy.

“You couldn’t have, so you are forgiven”, he said.

“But you act so strange when it comes to Agatha”, she said to him.

“Like you want to rip her head off, especially now.”

“He smiled a bit.

“Now, I could do a lot of things, but no, that’s not the case.

“She just makes me feel weird, and I don’t like it, that’s all”, he said.

That made Lotta think.

That could explain a lot of things, but she wasn’t sure yet, so she would leave it for now.

It was time for them to appear at the party.

Tonight, Lotta needed to serve the family, well, Drake, to be exact.

“I believe you already have a plan in your head?” Viktor teased her.

“Well, you know me so well”, she laughed.

“Let’s go then”, he said and they headed up toward the pack house.

They both needed to change their clothing so that no one would figure out what happened a while ago.

Drake was more handsome than he was before his trip, two years ago.

He was taller and more muscular, so no girl didn’t want to be near him, but he was serious, sitting with his family at the table and talking about unimportant things.

That wasn’t a night for work, or a title that needed to be given, no, he has just arrived.

Tomorrow is a new day.

Alpha Martin liked her and her late parents, but his wife was hard to deal with sometimes, so he would allow her some things, but he always thought that he made a mistake degrading Lotta into an omega.

Lotta was so much more than that, and she couldn’t be seen all night.

That was strange, though.

“Isn’t Lotta supposed for serving us tonight?” Alpha asked his wife Mary, but Agatha answered fast instead of her.

“Oh, I guess she got herself forced too much, I’m sure she will show up in the morning”, she smiled a bit nervous, fixing her long black curly hair, while her blue eyes glowed with satisfaction.

She was acting, and no one couldn’t tell, anyone except her.

“Oh, not at all, I just had some things prepared, I’m here sir, as always”, Lotta smiled, as she brought them plates with food on them.

Agatha’s face went pale, and she couldn’t believe that it was Lotta there, like nothing happened just a few hours ago.

Lotta’s green eyes were shining also, but not from satisfaction, but from feeling that she was so broken and disappointed at the same time, so she was trying everything to stay calm and not burst into tears.

She wouldn’t give them that satisfaction, especially not to him, who was looking at her with those black, shiny eyes, that she had dreamed of for 2 years...

She must admit that he was handsome as hell but dangerous as a devil himself.

“Oh, I’m very pleased that you made it, but you can join the party after you finish, it was a long day for you”, Alpha Martin said.

“Oh, you have no idea sir, but I think I will just rest, it has been a long day for me”, she was trying to be polite, but the truth was Alpha was always kind to her, and she knew that it wasn’t all his fault, but he could decide, he had the last word.

“I think she could be joining us at the dinner”, she heard Drake’s deep voice that made her shiver.
