Damien and Kira have been avoiding each other ever since what happened the last time. While Damien was only avoiding her because he had refused to accept the fact that he had feelings for her, Kira was avoiding him for several reasons and the biggest reason was because, she felt embarrassed by the fact that he had ran off to his actual lover the next day after what had happened between them, making her feel like a complete moron.
"I honestly don't understand any of you at this point and I'm starting to think you're all taking this situation very lightly which shouldn't be the case at all. As far as I'm concerned, we're all gonna die one day, so how about we just go for it without overthinking so much?" Sebastian hissed.
Layla clicked her tongue in frustration.
"Do you have any idea how frustrating you are Sebastian? It's funny how much you talk about this but one thing you're in and the next minute, you're contemplating on whether or not we should go all out or just not go to war. Do you have any intention of standing at the front line or are you going to keep being noisy?" Layla asked, completely sick and tired of dealing with Sebastian and his constant complaining.
"I...," Sebastian was about to fire but Kira had heard enough.
She slammed her hand on the table.
"Enough of this you two!" she raised her voice.
"How long is this back and forth going to continue? Is this how we're supposed to get a solution to all this? Aren't you two completely sick and tired of just arguing and disagreeing every two minutes? Listen you two, I am sick and tired of the both of you having different opinions and not being able to agree on anything and to keep the peace, I'd rather you both just keep your opinions to yourself so that we can finally make progress, is that clear?" Kira instructed and both Layla and Sebastian simply now their heads in embarrassment.
"Regarding a plan, I'll think of something and get back to you when my thoughts are finally settled on a good enough solution. I expect your obedience and cooperation when that time comes and I also expect no arguments or disagreements. You're all dismissed," she added and judging by her tone, it was obvious that she was pissed and as soon as she finished speaking, she walked out of the room with a deep frown plastered on her face.
Both Damien and Draco looked back at each other with a knowing look on their faces. It was the first time they had ever seen Kira react this way and they could tell that she was most definitely in a very bad mood and that it wouldn't be the best time to approach her at all.

Nathaniel used the back of his palm to hit Sheila right across her face.
"You ungrateful, useless bitch!" he spat out furiously.
"You...," he pointed his index finger at her, staring at her with so much anger and frustration that made him feel like he could end up killing her any second from now.
"You have been nothing but a disgrace to us, do you know that? You have done nothing else but fail and fail and fail even more with every chance you're given and you actually expect me to keep forgiving you and giving you even more chances to embarrass our family name? Have you no shame Sheila? Don't you feel guilty about ruining the hard work of our grandmother? Have you forgotten that this is her dying wish? You know what's even more appalling? It's the fact that I didn't even give you anything too difficult and yet, you can't even do anything right and you're supposed to be the special one? As useless as you are?" he questioned rhetorically as his voice echoed the entire room.
"I'm so sorry big brother," Sheila cried, feeling both embarrassed and ashamed of the fact that she hasn't stopped failing to impress her brother.
"I'm really sorry big brother. I know I've been disappointing you and I have no one else to blame but myself but I promise you big brother, I'll make sure I redeem myself no matter what. I assure you that...," she stuttered in fear but Nathaniel's thunderous voice cut her off.
"Shut the fuck up Sheila and enough of that bullshit! You have been promising to redeem yourself for weeks now and instead of doing just that, you either get yourself almost exposed or you end up costing the life of one person. Now tell me Sheila, is that what you call redeeming yourself? Is that really how you plan to redeem yourself?" he asked through gritted teeth as he grabbed her on her jaw very tightly, squeezing them like he was about to break her face.
She cried in pain. "Please...please forgive me Nathaniel," she pleaded in obvious pain but Nathaniel could care less about the pain she was in. He was simply furious with her and wanted nothing more than to inflict pain on her for costing them severely.
"You know what Sheila, I think it's high time you just stop it!" he snapped as he pushed her hard on the floor.
"I am very sick and tired of dealing with you and having to clean up every fucking mess that you make. It's actually starting to really choke me Sheila and I honestly can't take it anymore. You know why I kept you around for so long and dealt with you instead of just letting you go? It's cause I thought that maybe, just maybe, I'll eventually get to see why you were called the gifted one or rather, the special but so far, so good, the only thing you've been to me is useless Sheila, absolutely useless," Nathaniel told her angrily, wearing a tired and a frustrated look on his face.
Sheila rushed to her brother's side and held on to his legs desperately.
"Please big brother, please give me another chance, I pr...," Nathaniel pulled his legs from her grip but she hurried to hold on to them again.
"Just let go of my leg you crazy girl!" Nathaniel yelled angrily, kicking her hands away with his other leg.
Sheila groaned in pain.
"Listen carefully to me Sheila, don't you dare make me any angrier than I already am with you and don't fucking irritate me. Just stay as far away from me as you can for the time being and also, tell Dante to report to me as soon as possible. It may seem as though the Redmoon pack is more prepared for us than the Silvermoon pack which means that we need to get rid of that crazy Alpha as soon as we can. She is more of a problem than Damien is and something about her gives me a very bad feeling," Nathaniel complained.
"Big brother," Arlan, Nathaniel's immediate younger brother called out.
"What is it, Arlan?" Nathaniel hissed in irritation as he didn't like to be interrupted suddenly.
He immediately recalled that he had given them an order to find a missing member as soon as possible. It's been days since Gaius went missing and they had absolutely no information about his whereabouts just yet.
"Gaius is gone brother, he's gone for good," Arlan informed Nathaniel.
Nathaniel clenched his teeth as he kicked his leg in the air. "Fuck! I knew that woman Kira was going to be a problem for us and for this reason, we'll have to take care of her first before she becomes an even bigger problem for us. Did they get any information from Gaius?" Nathaniel asked.
"Not at all. Dante said that Gauis preferred the option of death instead of telling them anything about us but it seems they already know we are not friends with the sun because they had kicked him out to the sun and they made him burn into ashes," Arlan informed.
Sheila gasped.
"Well, isn't that just interesting? It may seem as though our favourite victims are finally drawing the battle and what could be more interesting than watching them all die whilst trying hard to get rid of us?" Nathaniel said with a dark chuckle before turning to face Sheila.
"By the way Sheila, isn't it time you stopped living as just a werewolf? You should start getting ready to become exactly like us cause you can't be useless forever," Nathaniel stated impatiently.
Sheila's eyes widened in shock. She has always been of the belief that she was their trump card and their main access to the werewolves and now, all of a sudden, he wants her to stop being a part of them?
"We can't do that just yet brother," Arlan quickly said to Nathaniel.
"If Sheila dies now and becomes a vampire, she won't be able to walk in the sun like she can now and if that happens, her cover would be blown and she'll be in danger. I get that her relationship with Damien might not be at its best but I'm pretty sure he still cares about her to an extent and I doubt it'll be right to put her out there so soon," Arlan added.
"I know all that Arlan but she's just useless at this point! I've been cleaning up her messes for weeks now and it's even getting worse. I honestly don't see any reason to keep protecting her identity when she's not even doing anything for us," Nathaniel complained bitterly, genuinely frustrated with the fact that Sheila was being nothing but a burden at that point.
He knew she was his sister and he could not possibly abandon her but, he also knew that it was about time she started to fight for her own safety instead of staying under his protection.
Sheila was the step sister to Nathaniel, Arlan and Arkansas. Unlike her step siblings, Sheila was not a vampire just yet and this is because her father is a werewolf, which makes her one too and her mother is a vampire.
Right from when she was a child, her brothers have always protected her and made sure to give her everything she wanted as their mother constantly reminded them of her vital role in their plan and for this reason, Nathaniel had sacrificed lives just to make sure his sister was safe.
Now, he was no longer certain if he should keep on protecting her at the expense of losing more people or if he should finally let her out there so she could also learn how to protect herself and stop hiding behind the men in her life.
"What the fuck are you doing here?" Kira questioned Damien impatiently as soon as he walked into her room. She dropped the few clothes she had in her hands on the bed quickly and turned to face him directly with her arms folded across her chest."I came here to talk to you Kira," Damien replied, maintaining a calm look on his face.Kira immediately rolled her eyes. Dhe believed that the only reason he came here was to talk about what had happened between them a few nights ago and probably tell her what she already knew and she wasn't ready to feel even more embarrassed than she already was so she had no intention of listening to him.If he really wanted to say anything positive to her, he would have definitely come to her the night after what happened between them happened or rather, he would have shown the very next morning to speak to her but instead, he went o
"Are you seriously asking me what it was for? What are you even doing here Damien? Why are you even here?" Kira asked in anger. She knew she sounded crazy but she couldn't help the rage that she felt at that moment. Staring at Damien only made her feel foolish and used and she could not hide her anger towards him. "I only came here to talk, Kira. Nothing else," he replied and Kira couldn't help but roll her eyes. The fact that he just said that to her only made her even angrier and she didn't even bother masking her disdain. "You came here to talk right? Fine then, that makes sense so it's perfectly fine by me. Now that you're done saying whatever it is you wanted to say, how about you do both of us a favour by leaving? I'd really appreciate it if you used the door," she said to him, using her index finger to show him the direction of the door. The skin betwee
Ever since Kira woke up, she had been staring aimlessly at the ceiling, trying to not be affected by what had happened between Damien and her just a few hours ago. She tried everything she could to keep the thoughts out of her head so that she could focus solely on what she should do next. While Kira had these thoughts on her mind, Damien was fast asleep beside her, snoring softly with his legs out of the duvet and a part of his bare butt hanging out of the duvet that only partly covered his naked body.Kira's eyes finally moved away from the ceiling after what felt like hours of her staring blankly at the ceiling. As much as she was trying not to get affected by everything that just happened, she was deeply affected. She disliked the fact that she constantly had to remind herself that Damien had another woman and that everything that just happened between them was simply one sided and that he didn't feel the
The question Draco asked wasn't exactly a surprising question but for some reason, Damien still found the question difficult to answer as he did not know exactly what it was that he was feeling. He had come to accept that he had fallen for Kira and what he felt for Sheila couldn’t be compared to what he felt for Kira but even though he knew all that, he still couldn’t bear the mere thought of letting Sheila go.He already admitted to himself that it was selfish of him to be so indecisive about everything and the fact he didn’t want to hurt any of the women because of how much he cared about both of them made him feel frustrated with himself.“You know Damien that you and I have been friends since forever now and I can confidently say that I know you like I know myself and you also know very well that you can lie to everyone else in the world but not to yourself bro. The skin between Damien’s brows creased in confusion. “Go on Kira, I’m listening. Just tell me once and for all what exactly is going on and be clear with me,” he insisted, wanting her to tell him so he knew what he had done wrong. He was very sick and tired of the whole back-and-forth that they've been having all this while and the fact that she wasn't even saying anything to him and instead, just keep flaring up at him at every opportunity that she got was something that was wearing him out both physically and emotionally and he needed to hear from her what exactly he had done wrong. Kira scoffed. She couldn’t believe he was asking her to keep talking when he could sense that her voice was literally shaking and the fact that he sounded so nonchalant, almost as though he was just waiting to listen to whatever she had to say, made her even angrier than she already felt. It was almost as if he had no remorse whatsoever and he was only trying to listen to her just because he wanted t
"Kira dear, are you okay?" Aunt Layla asked as soon as she walked into Kira's room. She had knocked a few times but when she didn't get any response, she decided to check for herself to be sure that Kira was doing okay. She happened to run into Kira earlier and she could immediately sense that something was wrong with her even though Kira had denied it. "Kira, can you hear me?" she asked again when she noticed that Kira wasn't responding to her. When Kira said nothing, she quickly moved closer to her and tapped her a little aggressively to snap her out of her thoughts. Kira is shocked to see her auntie in front of her as she did not see anyone coming in. "When did you get in here auntie and how did you get in?" she asked, and her question only made Layla even more worried. "Are you being serious with me right now Kira? Did you really not notice when I walked in? I knocked on the door a few times and when you weren't responding, I decided to check up on you to make sure that you wer
Kira had been sneaking glances at Damien any chances she got. After her conversation with her aunt yesterday, she had decided to think things through and hear from Damien. Anytime Damien turned to meet her eyes, she would immediately look away to avoid getting caught staring too much. They were currently having a meeting but she could barely remember anything that had been said because the only thing that she had been thinking about all the while, was Damien and she wasn't paying attention to anything else but him. Damien was having a feeling that Kira was staring at him and at first, he thought that he was simply imagining things, he just kept getting the feeling that someone was staring at him but whenever he turned to stare at Kira and maybe confirm if she was looking at him, he noticed that she wasn't looking at him and she seemed to be very concentrated on what her aunt was saying to them. Kira stood in front of Damien's room as she contemplated whether or not it was a good idea to even be here. She wanted to knock on the door and speak to him but she was feeling nervous and she wasn't confident that speaking to him would be a good idea. She had tried very hard to contain herself in the last few days even though she wanted to speak to Damien desperately and clarify the situation between them. She still remembered his confession to her very clearly but she just didn't have it in her to believe him because of everything that had happened between them since they met.According to what her aunt had told her, everyone else around them could sense the tension between them and Layla had advised her to settle the situation with him as soon as possible because of how awkward things were for people around them. Kira also wanted to hear from Damien and she was hoping that he would approach her first since she didn't dare to approach him but seeing how he wasn't making any attemp
It’s been over a week since Damien and Kira confirmed their feelings towards each other, even though they hadn't publicly announced it to anyone. They also did not confirm the status of their relationship with each other because they were still fixated on sorting out the situation concerning the vampires, and they felt like their relationship could wait for a while since their feelings for each other had already been confirmed. The plan to attack the vampires was coming together properly and everyone had made sure to put in their hundred percent because they knew they could not afford to fail. They also made sure that security was tight enough for both packs thankfully, there was no sign of an attack from the vampires and both packs were currently peaceful. “What do you say, babe?” Damien asked Kira, who was busy trailing her fingers around his chest.“Say about what?” Kira questioned, not knowing what he had said since she wasn't paying attention. “I said, do you want to go to a
Sheila's eyes burned with rage and desperation as her eyes stayed fixated on the room Kira's aunt resided in. She had made sure to confirm the room first so that she didn't end up making any mistakes and now that she was completely sure, she had no intention of losing sight of her target. After her worst nightmare of letting Damien slip through her fingers came to pass, she then made up her mind that she wasn't going to get hurt alone. She was also going to make Kira go through similar pain and that was only going to happen if she could successfully get rid of the person who is closest to Kira, who was none other than her aunt. She had made sure to come in an appropriate disguise so that nobody would recognise her because she wasn't ready for people to find out who she was just yet. She was wearing a black outfit coupled with a black hood and a mask to cover her face. She thought it would be slightly difficult to get in but lucky for her, the guards had let their guard down and she
Kira was taken aback when she heard Damien's words. He had just blatantly confessed that he had feelings for her but the fact that she heard it from him felt so weird and unbelievable. She was finding it difficult to accept his words not because she didn't want them to be true but because she just couldn't bring herself to think that he was actually being serious and that he genuinely had feelings for her. She and Damien had a pretty rocky start and unfortunately for her, she found herself falling for him without even realising it. After the stunt he pulled the last time, she thought things were certainly never going to work out but hearing him say he felt the same way she did felt good but at the same time, scary. She took in a deep breath and exhaled. “Are you sure you have feelings for me or perhaps you're confusing the bond we have for actual feelings?” she asked, wanting a genuine response. Damien looked into her eyes. He knew it might catch her off guard but he wanted her
