"Oh hail moon goddess!", Richard said out aloud with his face seeming very frightened like a cat in a strange garret. He now fully understood what was really going on.
The baby, the gift which he perceived earlier that was coming soon but not so sure when, was coming now and he was in a confused state
Her water broke, his dear Emily was in labour.
"Breathe! Breathe!! Come on!", Richard said in tension trying so hard to comfort and console her as he held onto her hand as a form of support.
Emily was sweating profusely, she was struggling too hard enough, she was breathing heavily with tears rolling down her eyes.
"Richard! Ahh! It hurts, it's painful.", Emily cried out painfully.
It was as though moving something extremely heavy with her bare hands, something she had never experienced before, something she had never imagined would happen sooner than she expected.
If only she had had a sign of what was to come in the next few hours or even minutes, she would have gotten the ground prepare for the baby's arrival.
Looking at Richard, he was in the state of utmost confusion, like a cat on a hot tin roof, he was very nervous.
Looking at him, no one would be believe that this was the same man who was not just an alpha of a sovereign pack, or a role model to the little pups who were craving for growth just to become warriors and fighting by his side, but also a leader who ensured a complete winning streak in all his battles.
This was a man who could quench a volcano for the sake of the one he held dear to his heart. He could never be found wanting, neither was it easy for him to be taken unawares.
He would never be in this present state even if a legion of demons would crawl out from hell, challenging him or his pack to a fierce battle.
But here he was, all for the sake of his beloveth Emily, he forgot entirely that he was an Alpha and that he had a lot of responsibilities on his shoulders, neither did he care about anyone's opinion supoosing one would barge in to meet him in this state.
All he ever wanted at that point was the safety of both mother and child, Emily and whatever he would name the young creature after birth.
"Stay with me. I beg you. Stay with me! You can do this", Richard continued in persuasively, trying to stir up in her reasons why she has to stay strong.
Seeing his beloveth in pain tore his heart out, making him feel like a wet weekend, and tears were already welling up in his eyes.
On a normal occasion, if Emily was in pains caused by another man, woman, god or demon, he was going to tear off such person and feast on his flesh in it's natural state like a bull in a china shop.
But would he hurt the little creature who gave his beloveth so much pains? He wouldn't want to kill the fruit of his union with Emily, would he?
"Simon!!!", His deep masculine voice yelled out and echoed throughout the entire building.
The sounds of footsteps running down the stairs was heard and it sounded like the one being called was in trouble or something was happening, of which it was.
The loud call made by Alpha Richard did not only call out Simon from his hiding spot, it also called out majority of the servants he had in the house running out to see what could make the alpha wolf scream out Simon's name loudly.
Most times, whenever anyone was called out in such a manner, they were usually in the soup.
"Yes Alpha Richard", Simon answered when he got down with his hands terribly shaking and sweat rolling down his head.
Simon was the Omega whom Alpha Richard had adopted into his household.
With both his parents gone, he thought of ways of surviving which led him into a company of drug addicts.
These bad acquaintances had began poisoning his mind, giving him reasons to engage in something as terrific as Drug abuse.
Once Alpha Richard had found him walking the streets aimlessly, like a chicken with it's head cut off, and he seemed to have been on the verge of total derangement not until he was taken into the Alpha's home, starting up a new life for himself.
"Call the doctor!", Richard said in a low but in a deeply furious tone.
His eyes were turning pure gold like he was about to shapeshift into his wolf form and bite Simon's head off.
Simon looked down, this could be the first time he had ever seen his alpha in this state.
He looked down and saw his Luna groaning in pains, breathing heavily and sweating profusely while lying on the ground.
He felt the tension in Alpha Richard's voice, the look in his eyes were the most scariest things he had ever seen.
He still stood there looking at both Richard and Emily pitifully and forgot totally that a desperate wolf had ordered him to get the doctor urgently.
"Would you move it?!! GO NOW!!", Richard ordered after seeing Simon still standing there like a moegoe, relenting to carry out his orders.
This time, his voice sounded like an angry Wolf's growl, his fangs coming out and the hairs on his skin and face becoming wilder and more visible.
It scared him, this time, Richard got scared to his bone marrow, and the force in Richard's voice struck the bones of his feet causing the young kid to move swiftly to where the Pack's doctor resided, running as if there was no tomorrow.
The house was unexpectedly hot. One could even doubt if the winds didn't blow at all, both Emily and Richard couldn't felt the effect of the cool zephyr which they felt previously at the garden.
Richard looked at the stairs, the house he lived in was a two story building and the master bedroom was on the last floor.
Looking at the flight of steps, he thought of carrying her up in her arms.
Of course, he had the super strength gifted to him by the moon goddess to lift up Emily but he reconsidered.
"What if something else went wrong with his plan? What if something happens to either the mother or child", Richard thought of it and changed his mind.
"You!!", He pointed his finger towards a little servant girl who stood there looking at the state Emily was in a concerned manner.
"Get towels! Prepare the room for the doctors arrival. IMMEDIATELY!", Alpha Richard yelled at the little girl who quickly ran to get a bowl of warm water and hot towels.
The little girl who ran out to get the water and towels was also another child Alpha Richard saved from the verge of being a delinquent teenager.
She was just thirteen years of age and if Richard did not find her or rescued her, then her story would obviously had been different by now probably at it's worst state.
"You!!", Richard yelled out again but this time, pointing to another lady who seemed to be like the head of the servants in the house.
She swung swiftly to where Emily was laid. She was very smart and knew her job perfectly, she wouldn't want to get yelled at just like the other servants.
"Help me take her upstairs", Alpha Richard said calmly when she saw her move closer to where they stood.
Richard held her up by her waist, putting her right hand over his shoulders and holding her by her waist and holding her arm by the wrist.
The head servant did same but oppositely, she threw Emily's left hand over her shoulders and held the arm by the wrist.
"Yeah! Yeah!! Sure. Look I get you. I get what you mean", Martins spoke out boldly and confidently.
Martin Grey was the Blue moon Pack's medical doctor and he was just so good at his job.
The Blue moon pack was just too advanced in everything, even to what could seem like the lowest point.
Though other packs had their own medical centres, the Blue moon's medical facilities were far more advanced and whenever it came to the medical practitioners, Martins Grey was at the forefront.
He was discussing something very important on the phone call, and from what it sounded like, it was going to be beneficial to both him and the Blue moon pack.
"Look! Listen!", Doctor Martins Grey continued the discussion.
"My alpha is gonna tear of my skin when he finds out that I ordered counterfeits and not the original equipment. Besides, you and I both know the effects of wrong equipments in the medical world", he said taking a sip from the glass of wine he had on that table.
"Ding Dong", the door bell rang loudly round the house. It was loud enough, though he wasn't at the sitting room, he heard the door bell loud and clear.
"Ding Dong!!", Simon rang the doorbell again when he couldn't hear anything from the inside.
He was in a haste, his Luna needed the services of a professional medical practitioner as soon as possible, and now no reply?
He peeped through the glass window to see if anyone could even be around the house and when he couldn't see anyone, he knocked on the door furiously, with all his strength and his might.
"Who is it?", Martins finally heard the knock on the door and yelled out the statement while using his hands to cover the base of the phone.
He did this to prevent the man who was at the other end of the phone call from hearing his loud reply.
"Doctor Martins?! Are you there? It's me!! Simon!", Simon yelled the reply when he finally heard Martins voice echoing out from the house.
He heaved a heavy sigh of relief knowing that the doctor was around and that his Luna would be fine.
"Hello sir!", Martins continued with the phone call. "Can I call you back? Yeah! I have something urgent to attend to", Martins Grey said as he ended the phone call.
He dropped the phone on the table, and with the glass of wine in his hand, he put his right hand in his pocket and walked towards the door.
He peeped through the glass window and saw Simon, panting and sweating, tapping his legs uncontrollably.
He removed his hands from his pocket and opened the door, smiling at the young boy who came to look for him.
"Hey! Simon! What's up?", The doctor asked smiling cheerfully.
If there was one thing about the doctor, it was the fact that he followed the ethics of his job, always smiling in order to give his patients some rays of hope.
"Doctor Martins? The Luna is in labour!", Simon said with some form of tension written on his face.
The doctor smiled when he heard the Statement from the young boy, and the only thing he could say was, "Just in time!".
He looked at the young boy who stood before him, Simon on the other hand was trying to puzzle out what could make the doctor smile even when he stated that the Luna was in labour.
"Alright!", Martins broke tell silence and breathed in heavily. He continued, "Let me get my stuffs. I'll be there in a jiffy".
The young boy nodded his head and ran back to the Alpha's home confidently.
"Breathe! The doctor's coming alright!", Richard said with the warm towel in his hands trying his best to console Emily who held onto his hands tightly.
"Where's the doctor?", Richard roared at the young boy who barged into the room without anyone behind him.
"I called him sir. He's on his way now", Simon replied humbly. And just as Richard wanted to yell at him again, the door creaked open with Doctor Martins entering the room.
"Sorry. I'm late!", The doctor said as he moved closer to check on Emily who was still in pains.
When he was done checking on her, he turned towards Richard who stood there concerned and advised him to leave the room.
"Alpha Richard! I think it's best you leave the room!", The doctor said politely.
He was a doctor but that wouldn't change what would happen to him if he spoke rudely to the alpha of the Blue moon pack.
He took the words of the doctor seriously and was walking out of the room but still peeped back to look at Emily.
When Richard had gone, the two servant girls were about leaving until he said, "You two ain't leaving. I need you here!"
He turned to Emily and said to her, "it's time! You could push now".
She took in a lot of air and screamed out aloud while she was trying to push the baby out of her.
Her loud scream echoed, and Richard who could hear her screaming so loud was deeply hurt inside.
His beloveth Emily, was obviously in so much pains at the moment, and he couldn't be at her side to comfort the woman he dearly loved.
"Okay ma'am", the doctor said to her while she struggled to push. He looked out through the window and saw the moon shining brightly in it's fullest form.
"You'll have to shape shift to your wolf form, okay? Your wolf form would take away half the pain you're feeling right now, okay?", The doctor continued.
Emily listened to what the doctor told and she nodded her sweaty head and took in a lot of air.
She looked at the full moon through the window and then, slowly, she was shapeshifting.
It was really a painful process for a person to shapeshift into a lycanthrope especially during the full moon.
This was the first in a long while anyone had seen her wolf form. Her eyes were greenish brown in colour and she wolf form was very smooth.
*"It's painful Rich!"*, She mind linked Richard who stood at the hallway close to the door but howled softly inside the room.
It sounded very sharp in Richard's head, like a microphone turned on in his head. He recognized the voice, it was his dearest Emily calling out to him.
*"It's alright dearest. Be strong. I need you, the baby needs your"*, Alpha Richard replied through the mind link.
He was curious, and was _____________________ seeming very nervous
"You're doing it ma'am. You're almost there, okay?", The doctor tried comforting her with his kind words.
"One more push and the baby is out", the doctor said to Emily and she howled softly as a form of response to the doctor's statement.
And truth, one more push was just enough to make the baby come out of which she did.
Richard stooped halfway in his movement, he could hear audibly some some from the room, it sounded like a young creature crying in discomfort.
He was there at the hallway, panting for breath, panting after any form of gratifying news concerning his dearest Emily. He was standing out there, licking his lips nervously, anticipating something good, moving back and forth, trying to calm his nervous soul. He seemed like a blue arse fly, seeming very nervous. At this point in his life, nothing would be in the better position of calmingbhis nerves that a comforting news about his beloveth Emily. He stopped his movement half way, he heard a sound, it struck the bones of his feet and it made his ears to tingle, he could hear this sound, it sounded like a joyous one, a joyous sound emitting from the room where Emily and the doctor were in. He decided to move closer to the door of the room in a bid to identify the cause of the sound he heard and satisfy his questioning spirit. He could finally hear the sound, it was sounding like a cry, but from a young creature. The baby, his replica, his little self was born, his gift from the
"I'm saying... I'm saying, between me, you and the gate post, the first born might be wolf less.", Martin's grey uttered out finally after much complications he had within him. There was a moment stunned silence, a defeaning silence which struck the entire room. "Might!.... Might.. I said might", Martins Grey said scratching his head and looking to another direction quickly like the winds. It was conspicuous, very noticable, the clock which hung beautifully on the wall suddenly began to tick loudly, the soft gentle winds which blew through the tight curtains could be heard, the whistling sound was audible enough, Martin's unsteady eyes were moving restlessly from viewing the black smart shoe he wore, to the glass which was in Richard's hands to Richard's face. The look on Richard's face terrified him so bad, he threw his looks away from Richard's face to the curtains and back again to the table which separated him from Alpha Richard "Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!", Richard roared, l
"His name is Nicholas", Richard said out again as he turned fixed all his full attention on Emily. She looked back at her husband, she stared back into Richard's eyes and smiled cheerfully, she smiled from ear to ear, smiled like a bee in a clover, she loved the sound of his name, "Nicholas". "He would be his brother's best friend and probably he will be his beta and they will rule and lead the blue moon pack in battle together, and they would come back home victorious", Richard spoke as though he was proclaiming blessing upon his two sons. Or yes! He was blessing his two sons, his words were power and life, he was the Pack's protector, he didn't only feel like a boss, he was their boss, their king and everything under him was also under his control and they obeyed the instructions that proceeded from his mouth. She leaned her head on Richard's muscled shoulders, it showed a form of agreement to everything Richard was saying. "He would be his brother's best friend...", those exact
"It's about Bryan", he finally pulled out of the grip of fear holding him and embraced courage, speaking up to Emily being as free as in speech and also as free as a bird. It was time for him to tell Emily what he heard about Bryan, he was hiding in plain sight and he couldn't hide it from her anymore, following Martin's words, he needed to let Emily know everything. She took in a long breath and sat upright in a bid to listen to what Richard had to say. "Was Bryan okay?", She asked herself. Though she seemed very uneasy, she maintained her cool and paid rapt attention to what Richard was about to say. "And what about Bryan? Is anything wrong somewhere?", She asked looking concerned and putting her gaze on him (Bryan). "Martins told me he would be wolfless", he said as he looked at Emily. She was in suspense, at first seeming motionless but later she turned slowly and looked at Richard. Her facial expressions changed, her countenance changed. This
She had succeeded in capturing his heart, snatching him away from the hands of fear and pulling him closer to faith with just the words of her mouth Looking at him, he was looking more lively, happier, stronger, and more handsome. With his happy face, it was safe to say he had gotten over the fears that held him down and kept his hope alive."I have something in mind..", Emily said as she thought of something. It was like a ping in her head, just after the sweet encouraging words and sermon she had delivered flawlessly to her husband, a very bright idea came to her mind."Something very special in mind", Emily spoke out again. Holding her husband was like falling in love with him again and again, it was like reigniting feeling deep within her, it was never going to end.But she would not hold him for so long, it would make Alpha Richard feel she was loving and craving every fibre and muscle of his body, and in a relationship where the both parties were willing to out love the other,
He whispered softly into her ears, "I'll be downstairs", her skin receiving some form of impulse from his hot breath. She watched as he put on his long black robe and left the room walking majestically and gracefully. Even with his departure, the room was still filled with his aura, with his scent, he smelled like spice, like the roses, and so did the room too. Everything in the room reminded her of the intense intimate moment they had the previous night. From the table lamp, to the bed, to the opened windows which freely gave passage for the winds to cool her every moment of the session, she smiled as every single moment played back in her mind and she felt like a dog on heat. She could still feel his arms rubbing her smooth skin slowly, and she couldn't help it but also rub her skin too as if he was present with her doing exactly what was in her mind, but he was out of the room a few minutes ago. She was carried away by what she did until her eyes jammed
Baked potatoes?, Omellete?, Vegetables?, Richard, everything around her was enough to blow her mind away.If the day started this way, Emily was in a state of eagerness to know what the day truly held for her.She picked up a piece of omellete eggs in her fork and drove it straight into her mouth.Closing her eyes, she explored the inner sweetness and delicious taste of the meal which calmed her nerves and found into way to comfort her previously growling stomach. Then, suddenly, she shot her eyes open as though she remembered something, or maybe she did remember something. Her babies. She never thought about giving her babies a bath, neither did she think of feeding them in the morning. She had finally understood what motherhood taste like, she now had to take care of not just herself only, but her twin babies. If only she had removed her mind from Richard, she obviously would have remembered her babies and how they were faring. Hopefully, she had Richard to thank for the constant s
"My name's Richard, what's your name?", Richard asked politely. He looked into his eyes, it was a reflection of his emotions, the pain, the agony, everything."My name's Luke", Luke replied as he shook his hands with Richard.Richard could see the pain in his eyes, obviously his cheeks were burning, his jaw and his head was aching and his body hurt him badly, but he tried keeping a smiley face "Come on! Let's go get some treatment for your face", Richard said.Luke couldn't walk on his own accord, he obviously needed help to leave the woods and Richard held his hands, slowly taking him out of the woods "How did you do that?", Luke asked. He puzzled over the fact that another boy of bus age was able to beat up two big bullies and scare the last one away. This was something worth knowing."How did I do what?", Richard asked him. Quite certain, he didn't really understand the question he was being asked"How were you able to beat those two guys up all on your own?", Luke asked finally
"Are you crying?", Bryan heard a familiar voice which caused him to jerk up from his posture. It was Harriet's, and she was alive."Oh Harriet", he said as he didn't hesitate to hug her deeply. He didn't know if he was the one who height her back to life, or what, but he was grateful, having another opportunity to hear her voice and have her by his side."You're choking me..!", She struggled to say with faint breath, constantly tapping him by his shoulders just so he could break the hug. He hugged her too tight, squeezing the last breath in her lungs, not until he was aware and finally broke the hug. He wouldn't want to be the cause of her second death and so smiled at her.He pressed his lips against hers. That feeling! He would kill himself if he never had the chance to taste the moisture in her lips. She had her hands wrapped around his neck, kissing and reciprocating his actions."You're alive.!", He said with an elated tone, still not able to comprehend what had happened."Yes."
What just happened? The silence in the room was a grave one as Bryan stood to watch the Caesar's head roll on the ground, his eyes still wide open while his body released blood profusely. It seemed as though Luke was on their side, evident in the way he turned swiftly and stood with them, pointing his sword towards them in his defense."Sorry, I'm late.. I just needed the time", he said with heavy breaths, huffing and puffing as he stood with them. How exciting it was! At the initial stage he doubted if he would fight his father's best friend, or if his daughter would fight her father, and surprisingly, he was on their side. There were more powerful forces on his side against Constantine. And speaking of Constantine, she didn't appreciate Luke's actions as the frown on her face had spoken her intentions clear to all of them. If only she knew how cute her porcelain skin was with her platinum blonde hair, then she would keep a smiley face. Yet it pleased him how it stung her deeply in
"I need you to promise me one thing.", Said Bryan as he held Harriet's hand, both standing in the middle on the room and staring into each other's eyesThe night had come, the night when he would battle his foes and would take back what belonged to him. He was nervous, constantly breathing just to keep up with the feeling within him.He heard of the stories of his father's greatest battle with an enemy so powerful. Was he as nervous as he was? Did his father fear the outcome of what would happen after that night just the same way he did?His thoughts ran wild, his mind picturing all the kinds of things which would happen during his battle with the Caesar. They were both positive and negative, successes and losses, yet he feared the latter between the two choices."What is it?", She stood like a loyal lady, holding hands with him. His hands were soft just as hers. Both couldn't get rid of the memories of the previous night, especially the love bite. She couldn't tell if he was insane o
"You really believe tomorrow night would be perfect for this.?", Harriet asked as she walked behind Bryan. Unlike the other days, he was a slow paced walker who had his hands behind his back on a gentle mood. At that point she struggled to keep up with him. She began breathing heavily. Walking with him was tiring and stressful, and the way he had flown through the flight of stairs aas incredibly amazing, yet she couldn't. "Yes.!", He finally replied as his legs stomped swiftly against the stairs from the top unto the last block and then he turned to stare at her. "Try to keep up please?", He asked as he stood with heavy breaths watching as she ran down the steps with speed. She tripped over, almost crashing against a hard floor not until his hands had caught her just at the nick of falling. "Are you alright?", He asked with hands around her waist, looking down at the one who looked to the ground. Her face was few inches before hitting the ground, his speed had saved he
It was still a hot sunny day when they took most of their properties and left immediately. They travelled on their horses, moving far before they had to stop to get some rest. Bryan could only make them stop when he was assured within him that the annihilators were far from them and where they stopped was safe enough. The annihilators attack had went on to show the war which the Caesar had decided upon. Obviously he hadn't signed the treaty given to him.He didn't expect him to sign it easily. The treaty wasn't meant for him, rather his brother. But the sight of his brother being battered and tortured showed the Caesar was in charge and he would be the best person to hand over the treaty to.From the way he sounded and acted, he was an arrogant yet confident man who didn't believe in the word "defeat". And just like he thought, he had blasted the war cry by sending the Annihilators to ease himself of what was to come. Coward!Caesar was a different day, soon to be taught lessons whic
It's been a day after the brief visit to the blue moon pack, his home, and yet he couldn't get over the memories. They kept recurring, and they were getting as fresh as what he couldn't describe. His first sight of his home was amazing. The winds which blew there was much better than what he had ever felt, it was as though it was specially made for that environment. He felt it and it was though he was young again, infact, the memories returned as he stepped his feet on the garden. His parents favourite place. It was more of a love garden to them than what others would have thought, a place where they would sit together and have breakfast, disturbing the winds with their waves of love..And now they were no more, and the garden had turned into an evergreen desert. The water fountain which always had water flowing through it and letting the birds sing with it's gurgling sounds had ceased to function."Hey Bryan.!", He heard his name accompanied with the sound of the door being shut. He
Constantine! He almost screamed her name at the sight of her, holding back his over excitement as his eyes went on an adventure on the beauty before him.Yet he couldn't resist calling her name. "Constantine.?", He called with now less interest on the treaty and more on her. He had his hands supporting him as he got up from his seat and stood to watch her keep walking towards him. She was looking better than the last he set eyes on her, watching her skin glow as the light aided it to. Her platinum blonde hair was perfect, falling on her shoulders and on her back, and her porcelain skin, so perfect for the word perfect. He went by the name Caesar, yet he found someone who knew what he was truly called. And here she was, standing before him with a straight face and a medallion hanging around her neck. It was beautiful, like the treasure who wore it. Filled and decorated with some shiny fancy stones, it glowed too, just as he couldn't resist staring at it."I'm surprised to see you her
"Mind what you say to me boy..!", The Caesar responded to his statement. In someway it hurt him bad. The feeling of a son challenging a father figure was what he had never seen, this young man displayed it before him.And why would he think he was scared of fighting his father? His father was one of the, if not the most powerful werewolf in the entire werewolf world, and whoever challenged such a person is mentally and all round prepared to fight him.He was an example. He had always wanted the Blue moon pack to himself, yet the presence of a being so powerful like himself had already assured him before hand that he was never ready for him.And when he thought he was ready, he felt as though making waves by killing other weaker Alpha's would cause fear to strike the entire werewolf world, making them know his name. And when he finally had Fergus, he had understood that the man whom he had fought hard and prepared for was no longer in existence.Someone must have killed him and taken o
The next day had arrived. Nature had it's way of making things come in an unexpected way, this time, it worked for his favour. He was awake, agile and strong for what was coming and what he expected to see.He awoke from his bed and had a quick shower, washing down all of his pain and frustration, thinking about his family as the warm water washed down the dirts from his bodyHe dried himself up and put on his clothes. It wasn't the usual he wore, this time, Adira had arrived with some of his best clothes. Up till that moment, he hadn't been able to place his hands on how she was able to know his location and even bring along some of his clothes. She had stated something about having a dream where he called her and gave her the same letter which he had seen in her hand. She went on to state she awoke to the croaking sound of a raven by her window, holding the same letter from her dream. He actually wished he had sent a message to someone back home, yet he never had a idea on who he wo
