Chapter 05- Accused Wrongly

EMILY

A Few Weeks Later.

I woke up with body aches all over, and I didn't bother to step out of the room until 12pm in the afternoon. When I stepped out of my room, I began hearing giggling noises. I didn't need anyone to tell me what was going on.

I walked down the stairs to meet Tyler and Karen seated on the longest couch. She laid down resting her head on his legs.

I ignored them and walked towards the fridge to get myself a glass of water. As soon as I picked up the jug and a glass, I heard the devil's voice.

"Not there young lady." Karen said.

I turned to stare at her untill she was standing right in front of me. She collected the glass from my hand and smashed it on the floor.

"What the fuck are you doing?" I yelled at her.

"Don't you fucking use what's mine. You saw so many glasses and you choose this one." She yelled at me. I cocked my head towards Tyler's position.

For a week now, I felt like his love for me completely vanished. He had talked me into accepting Karen and after he claimed her, I was being treated like trash by him.

Of course she was pregnant for him, and to him, I wasn't. I thought he was never bothered about babies, but I guess I was wrong.

"Karen." He called, standing up on his feet. "That's enough you two."

"You two? You were here when she attacked me first and you call it you two? Wow!" I raised my head high facing the ceiling so my tears wouldn't fall off. How much longer could I keep us with all of these bullshit.

I felt like slapping her in the face real hard, but I restrained myself. She was pregnant after all. "Don't you ever mess with me in your miserable life. Remember, this is my home, and I choose for you to be here." I said.

I cocked my head and stared at Tyler then I walked away.

"Is that a threat you bitch?" I heard Karen's voice as I climb the stairs. I remained quiet till I got to my room. I leaned on the door and let my tears slide from my eyes. How long was I going to keep us with everyone in this house? His mother was the worst of all and I was getting tired of her already.

I laid on the bed. Since Karen was now Luna too and everyone knew she was pregnant, I had nothing to do in the pack anymore. She was now fully recognized as Luna since she was pregnant.

I stared down at my belly. "I'll take care of you my child. Alone." I whispered and shut my eyes.

I woke up late at night because I was feeling really thirsty and my throat was sour. This had been my life for one week now, sleeping alone with Tyler by my side.

He always falls for her stupid tears whenever he decides to stay with me, and it doesn't bother me anymore. I walked down the stairs hoping I would meet a quiet living room, but no, Karen was there.

I decided to mind my business and just get a jar only. After all, I had plenty of glasses in my room. I opened the fridge and got a jug but before I could even turn to leave, I felt a hand grip my hair and pulled me back forcefully on the floor.

I groaned in pain, hurting my waist as the jug shattered into pieces.

What shocked me most was the fact that she cut herself with one of the broken piece of the jug and laid on the floor with a smirk directed at me.

I looked up to see Tyler rushing down the stairs.

"Karen." He yelled as he saw her on the floor eoth blood gushing out from her neck.

How could she even risk her life just to frame me. No matter what she's done to me, I didn't want her dead. She was also pregnant and carrying a baby. I cared for that baby more and I couldn't let anything happen to her.

As I tried to touch her, Tyler pushed me away.

"Get away from her, Emily. How could you do this to her."

I heard mother's footsteps from the stairs, and once she saw Karen, she screamed out loud rushing to us.

I received a resounding slap that nearly made me lost my senses. The evidence was just so strong. No one would believe me if I told them that it wasn't just me. In a situation like this, I was meant to face the entire council for trying to harm the Alpha's child.

"Lock her up, and don't give her a single drop of water till I say so."

I was stunned when I heard these words coming from Tyler's mouth.

"I didn't do it. I didn't do anything Tyler believe me." I begged. I sobbed. I tried to touch his hands, but he pushed me away again.

"You're a monsters, Emily. For trying to hurt my child and the mother of my unborn child. You're a monster. I don't even know you anymore, and I don't know what more you can do to her if I let you off the hook." He said.

I nearly gasped. How could Tyler not trust me. I would never do such a thing. I wanted to yell out loud that I was pregnant too as well, but I couldn't.

I was forced on my feet.

They had no right to do this to me since I was Luna, but I had lost my respect the moment Tyler condemned me right in their presence. "I swear by the moon goddess that I'm innocent Tyler, please."

He didn't even give me a chance to speak up. I was dragged out of the living room and taken to a dark place where I was forced into. I laid on the floor, crying my eyes out.

"You can't just sit back and watch my marriage destroy. You alone knows of my innocence so help me please. Don't let my name and imagine be tarnished in this manner, I beg of you." I went on my knees begging the moon goddess to help me out of these.

In a dream, I had been warned to flee from my marriage, but I couldn't. My child would be without a father, and we would both become rogues. I couldn't let that happen.

I would stay back, and fight till the end.

A few days later, the door finally opened. I wasn't give food or water for three days and I felt like I would die any moment. I was more worried about the little being inside of me.

I was dragged out by two men. For three days, I had no idea what was going on in the mansion, but with the faces everyone gave me, I was sure the news had been carried around.

I avoided everyone's gaze and just walked in.

I was taken to the hall where the council gathered and made to go on my knees. I couldn't raise my head to stare at Tyler. My heart was beating so fast, and I didn't know what my punishment would be.

"Did you really do it?" I heard Tyler's voice, forcing me to raise my head and stare at him. I saw pity in his eyes which I hated the most.

"You know what I can do Tyler. I would never do such an evil thing to anyone, let alone a pregnant lady."

"I told you, Karen, I don't know who you are anymore. You changed ever since Karen stepped into this house. Why did you give me your support if you knew you were going to harm her in the end?"

"I didn't do it." I found myself yelling back at him.

Everyone seated stared at me. "I really didn't do something like that. Ask your Luna what happened. She did that to herself and framed me for it. Why on earth would I try to harm her for goodness sake."

"Because you're jealous she's pregnant and you aren't." I heard my mother-in-law's voice. She began walking towards me.

"She's evil and we cannot keep her in the pack else we'll end up losing an innocent child. Your first child."

"You have no right to tell me to leave. This is my home, and I'm not going anywhere."

I stared at Tyler. Everything was left in his hands now. Would I really be banished like his mother had suggested, or would I be given another punishment. I silently prayed to the moon goddess to help me. I would never let my baby grow without a father and without a pack to call his own.

I had already been sent out from my pack since my parents died, and I know what I went through in the past. Not my baby too.

I let my tears slide freely.

A maid walked in as Tyler was about to speak.

"She's awake. Luna Karen's awake." She announced. Tyler got up on his feet and I could see the joy in his eyes. I was glad too. At least, she didn't die and the baby's safe.

"You'll be flogged a hundred and one times. That will be your punishment for trying to harm an innocent unborn child, and the mother. Take her out." He ordered.
