CHRISTIAN’S POV.

“Let's talk outside,” I said to Blake as he glanced at me.

“Stay here Lilith,” I whispered, placing her back on the visitor's seat.

I walked outside immediately while Blake trailed behind me. The air practically crackled with my anger as I faced Blake, my hands clenching into fists at my sides itching to strike him.

“Why, Blake?” I snarled. “Why would you break my sister’s heart?”. He kept his gaze trained on the floor, remaining silent.

“Look at me!” I shouted, my voice laced with contempt. “Tell me why you did it! Do you have any idea what she's been through?”

Finally, Blake looked up, his expression one of shame and regret. “I’m sorry, Christian,” he murmured, his voice barely audible.

My blood boiled at the sight of his pathetic attempt at an apology.

“Sorry?” I spat, my eyes blazing with rage. “You think that’s enough? Mia sacrificed herself to save you, even after everything you did to her, and all you can say is I’m sorry?”
