TYLER'S POV.

I sat down on warm and Sandy soil across the ocean and let out a deep breath. Coming here was the best option.

I just needed to be settled and avoid anything that would make me think. I buried my legs on the ground and watched the sunset.

It was so amazing and for the first time in the past few days, I smiled. It was getting dark already but still, I just couldn't go back home. It felt so nice and calm here.

My phone rang out and I reached out for it in my pocket. As I turned it on, I spotted Zane's number dancing on the screen.

I picked up the phone immediately and began to speak. “Is there a problem?.”

“Your mother is back, Alpha,” Zane reported.

“I'll be home in a few hours,” I responded and ended the call instantly.

Mom had been acting strange before she left and I was bent on asking her about it. The weather was already signalling that it was about to rain so I stood up and walked towards where I parked my car.
