Theda POV

Uncertainty washed over me and before I could verbally refuse Blake's suggestion, he continued, insisting. "I'll get you a pregnancy kit so that you can use and confirm," he reassured me, his determination evident. My heart raced as I contemplated the possibility. Though I knew that finding out the truth was necessary, apprehension lingered within me.

I started having doubts the next second as I felt a whirlwind of emotions. I opened my mouth to speak, to stop him from leaving, but he gently sat me down on the bed and patted my shoulder, silently urging me to stay put.

As Blake left the room, my mind raced. I began pacing back and forth, trying to make sense of what was happening. My life seemed to be taking an unexpected turn, and I couldn't help but wonder how I had arrived at this point.
