Chloe’s POV.

I open my hefty eyes, feeling the weight of confusion as they linger through the white room, a vast space that seemed to stretch endlessly. The room was devoid of any furniture, just me and the sound of my own breath echoing in the silence.

Lying on the cold white ties, I shivered slightly, the chill seeping into my bones. Despite the urge to rest, a nagging question persisted in my mind, where exactly was I?

Struggling to recall how I ended up in this unfamiliar place, I rose to my feet. My eyes darted around, desperately seeking any clue to my whereabouts. Each blink felt like a fleeting attempt to grasp a memory slipping through my fingers.
