The sudden knock on the door jolted me awake from my deep slumber. I flung up, wanting to stand up, but the sudden pain I felt beneath my stomach made me glue myself to the bed, my hands holding it tightly.

"What happened?" My lips slipped away from each other as tears began to pile up on my face, the memory of last night flooding into my head. I just made the biggest mistake of my life, giving myself to Liam, my sister's supposed mate. What was I thinking? I stared at the bed, my clothes a bit bloodstained, and the white bedsheet now stained with a faint bloodspot. My black clothes didn't give it much notice.

I heard the knock again, and my body trembled. Who could it be? Mendy? Scott? Liam again? No one would see me in this condition without suspecting something. I wanted to stand up, but I couldn't even move my fingers, let alone my legs. I didn't know who was at the door, but no matter who it was, I didn't want anyone to see me in this situation.
