I paced back and forth inside my room, my mind swirled with the thought of Chloe, I couldn't seem to get everything straight, the feeling of unease consumed my heart, the urge to ensure she was fine and sound wherever she was. I have been thinking about her throughout the day and I couldn't help but feel the responsibility for her well-being.

“I just can't shake off the feeling that she's in danger, I know it's irrational but I can't help” My legs limp beneath my trousers.

A knock erupted from the door and I froze for a minute “Who is there?” I asked.

I was expecting the person to answer but rather the person opened the door and stepped in without permission.
