Chapter 127

Liam’s pov.

My mind was restless, and I couldn't help but worry about Chloe. I doubted if she had treated her wounds.

I'm not sure because I know what Mendy is capable of.

I couldn't get her off my mind. I stood up from the seat on the bed, grabbed my t-shirt from the closet, and stormed out of the room.

Even though my Rogue, who was still celebrating the victory, and Lia were inside the room, they kept calling my name. But I refused to look back. I didn't think I was ready to tell them what was on my mind.

I walked down Chloe's street, my heart nearly leaping out of my chest. It took me just 8 minutes to reach her street.

When I arrived at her door, I wanted to knock, but what I heard froze me in place. I'm not sure what caused the argument, but Chloe's dad's statement left me speechless. My heart raced faster and faster.

"Dad, please don't send me out. I don't have anywhere to go, please. I promise to do everything you ask me to do," I heard Chloe's voice pleading, filled with tear

Why make the Alpha weak and boneless. Give him strength so that he can lead with confidence, allowing his mate to admire him as well as his pack members. Lia here is stronger than him, why? Give the man character.
