OLIVIA'S POV

Oh, it's been two days since Anna traveled. It's been a relief to me since she left, and I've been thankful for that.

She said she was going to come back after a day, but it's two fucking days already. Just this morning, I overheard Alpha Rick asking her where she was and why she hadn't returned as said.

I couldn't hear what her reply was but from his response, I knew she had given another excuse to him. And I'm certain he must have believed her.

“Have you guys noticed anything since the last two days?” Stella asked Victory and I.

“What did you notice?” Victory and I asked in unison.

Least I forget, Victory and I are back to being friends. We've understood our differences, we've let bygones be bygones. Now… we're back to being cool. Though, he did say why he was acting that way, and I understand.

I really do. It's natural to feel this way towards people, especially to your opposite gender.

“Ever since the mistress left, the pack house has been quiet.”

“I was thinking I w
