49~ Sweet Confession

RICK'S POV

"Rick..." Anna called as she stormed after me.

God. The heavens knew I was not ready for another argument with her. I hated having to yell at her to drive my point across to her so that she would leave me alone. She knew that and yet she pushed me. She pushed me to the edge of madness and back.

It had been two days since I spoke to Olivia. I did say I'll wait for her response, and I was actually keeping to that. I had the patience in me, but my only hope was… she wouldn't turn me down after this long wait.

I was very touchy and Anna was making all efforts to force me to snap at her. To be frank? She wasn't helping matters at the moment.

"Rick, come back here, I'm still talking," she screeched, her voice going up to such a pitch that I was worried that the glass part of the windows would shatter. They did not shatter, but my resolve to not yell at her did. And I snapped.

"What, Anna? What now?" I spun around to face her, cutting her steps off.
