RAVEN POV

The day we finally got to leave the house came.

As promised, I was holding on to the words of Logan who promised to be at the house soon. This way, we could make it to the hospital before the end of the next hour.

Something made a sound.

It was my phone.

Somehow, I expected it to be Logan but it wasn't him. It was Aella. Taking the device in my hand, I asked. “What do you want from me?” In a playful tone. “I'll leave the house soon. Do you want to come over?”

She heaved a sigh. I could hear it from my end.

“No, my lady—” she mouthed.

“I just wanted to be sure you're fine. You know I would come with you but I can't. I'll only drop by later tomorrow. In the evening. I'm glad Logan is coming with you.”
