Chapter 21

I was seriously bothered about the issue with the missing forsakens. Something felt off and oddly dark about the whole issue. Through out supper, I was absent minded that I didn't notice Leigh actually joined the rest of the family for supper.

After clearing the dishes, I headed back to my room when Gina called for me.

"Iris!" She said from the corridor.

I turned around to face her she looked disturbed about something.

"What's the problem?"

"Can we talk?" She asked with an unreadable expression on her face.

"In the room or ?" I asked.

"Some where more private." She said. She led me to the back of the quarters and honestly I had never been to this part of the mansion before. She looked around carefully before proceeding to speak.

"There is something I am really curious about Iris." She said carefully.

"And what could that be?"

"In your bag... Those drugs.." she hesitated.

"What about them?" I asked curiously.

"Those were suppressants weren't they?" She blurted out. I paused for a momen
