Councilor Zeph's POV

I was home drinking tea. I looked at the wall clock and watched the hours go by slowly. Miss Recce would be home from school soon and I would wait for her in the forest. She was so gullible. I knew she would come back for me to teach her more. I was simply building her trust. Her father had probably told her not to trust me. I growled as I remembered Beta Recce. He was a gullible fool just like his daughter, hiding behind too much pride.

I sipped my drink slowly. A few more hours now. I was going to help Miss Recce get her wolf back but she would have to exchange the secret of the the codex for it. I was in no rush though. Today I would help her unlock another part of her wolf to further endear her trust.
