Ammy P. O. V
The sound of metal lock clicking made contact with my eardrums. In the darkness of a cold cell, even a pin drop noise magnifies to the next level. I snapped my neck in that direction and blinked many times to clear my view to lock at the person entering inside the cell.
For my human sight, it's not easy to make out an image in the dark, all I can make out is the silhouette of a tall figure. But it's not enough to tell who this person is.
"Who's there?" I asked in confusion when that person didn't utter a word and just stood there observing me from far away.
Despite answering my question, loud footsteps moved in my way, making me scrunched back in my seat, in the back of the corner of the cell.

Ammy P. O. V What a weird coincidence it is. I'm standing in the same spot from where I started. The same spot from where I started my discovery was the answer to the questions I was looking for. This time I'm not going to be scared, I know the danger involved in it but the reward is worth it too. And I will be grateful if I help all the people here who consider themselves responsible for the crimes that they never had done. If you are thinking I have some epic idea so no you are wrong. I have no plans, no backups, nothing well prepared, but I have that one thing that can help you do whatever you want to do in your life and that is willpower. I'm willing to do this. No, it's no more for the answers I was looking for but it's more for the lives of so many people who showed kindness towards me even thou
Alex P. O. V the sound of thumping is the main cause I forced open my eyes to stop this annoying voice. My head is bursting and with each second this voice magnified itself to the next level. It's fucking annoying. This headache! A loud groan came out of my mouth and I forced open my eyes to take a look at the surroundings I'm in. The rotten smell of iron and dirt entered my nostrils. I can easily recognize it anywhere. It's underground dungeon cell and clinging of the silver bound around my hands and feet are just enough to prove me right. I raised my head from the metal ground beneath me to evaluate my cell and locate 2 guards who were trying to hide themselves as they peeked through from the other sides of the bars. It's hard to not notice their trembling bodies and the way their hands clutch the sword. It ama
Ammy P. O. V I flinched and pulled myself backward with each step this horrible creature took forward toward me. His dark eyes are getting darker with the anticipation of the hunt, scaring me even more. No matter how hard I tried to deny it, but that's it. I have nowhere to run now. Death is here to embrace me in its darkness, this is my final moment. I dare to let my eyes anticipate the fall I would have to take if I step an inch backward from the heights I am standing at. It's beyond my range if wouldn't for the beast blocking my way. I have just been looking for another way to reach the secret cave in the deep end of the mountain core. It happened in the blink of an eye. In the next second, I tightly shut
The silence here is scary, however, I keep walking to the source of light. I was right, the thing illuminating the whole place is the soul key. It's flying in the air, over the white marble fountain of red water. An orange glow shooting out of it complimenting the bright sun. I slowly open my eyes and this time a visible glass wall from around the fountain and inside standing a woman wearing a red hood, smiling chilling in my way, it raises goosebumps over my skin in anticipation of what's about to come next… "Well, well look what we have here… what's a little human born doing here? Have you lost my dear human?" Her words sound honey-dipped however not in agreement with her sharp features. I let my eyes waver over the woman standing in front of me, taking over
Ammy P. O. V All other voices stopped except the rhythm of water flowing from the fountain and the jingling of the key fighting with air surrounding it. And then it happens, it moves from the prescribed place and flies in my direction. I didn't let my control waiver just a little more and it will be mine. The key is about to reach the glass barrier when suddenly it's frozen in its place. How could it happen? Shit! I got the answer to my questions when I heard a horrible scream and turned to look towards the person from whom it's coming. It was coming from that female guard whose eyes are stuck at the soul key. if I am not wrong so she is controlling the soul key as I did seconds ago. She is using all her powe
We were standing in front of the huge arc-shaped rock. This place is ancient as you can tell by the unknown language runes carved on it. This is known as the portal. I'm feeling blessed right now, not knowing from how long we waited for this dream to come true. Today it's finally happening. I nodded toward Ammy to start it. It's a ritual she has to perform, one last thing to do. She placed her hand on the rune engraved as the sign of hand and lit the torch which is well known as the soul key, in the black space of arc. Rays of light took the shape of a huge circle filling the gap between the arc. The sound of gasping filled the background as everyone in this cave looked at the gateway with wet eyes. I can't explain in words what my heart is going through right at this moment. I never felt this before, this is beyond what I can understand, something new found. I ordered the children and females of my clan to become the f
Waking up, bathed in the beautiful light of the sun, I opened my eyes and reached for my phone to check if there are any notifications as I slept in till 2 pm.I saw there were a few missed calls and texts from my best friend, Archi.I smiled when I saw she tried to reach me, knowing well she will probably be furious as I didn’t answer any of her calls nor texts, so I dialed her number trying to
***I was in my hotel suite when I get a message from the alpha of Arabal pack that the meeting for which I fly here all the way is postponed from its scheduled time in the evening tonight which means I have to cancel my fight to get back home after the meeting in the tonight.‘God, why can’t people be punctual anymore?’ I muttered under my breath as flip my iPad at the nearest couch

Ryn P. O. V I begged my father to listen to me, to give us a chance to explain but he didn't listen a single word and ordered his guards to lock me in my room. The relationship between my father and me was limited to our clan business. We are not like normal father-daughter. Even at home we only talked to each other when it related to the clan's work. I don't feel bad about it anymore, I already passed that point and made peace with myself. I was aware of what was going to happen. That's why I had already formed a counter plan to cope with it. If they are thinking I'm going to stay here to cry my eyes out or feel sorry so it's their fault. I jumped on my feet and grabbed my weapons out of the drawer to stuff it in my leather boats. Before I make my way to
Ammy P. O. V Things get messy, the crowd gets afraid to heat up as the minutes pass by. With Ryn out of the picture and a heated argument going on between two Alphas, the room's temperature is pretty much heated. We don't want to make things more complicated. But I don't know how to clear up this misunderstanding. It's hard to break the belief upon which these people have been living here for centuries. If I were in their shoes I would have the same mindset. I can't even imagine the burden each and every one carries here on their souls as Ryn. They all are tagged with the label of prisoner's for the actions which are not done by them. These people keep locked here far away from the normal life that other species of Darkland are enjoying, when these
