RACHEL'S POV.

I paced around my room anxiously, I was waiting for Alpha Axel to return from the meeting. I bit my fingers as I paced around. My mind was clouded with worries. “What if the meeting doesn't end well?” I thought. “What is taking you forever Alpha Axel?” I muttered as I looked at the wall clock.

Immediately the door gently opened revealing Alpha Axel. “Hi,” he greeted, approaching me.

“How was the meeting?” I asked as I rushed over to him, sweat dripped from my face.

“It was successful” Alpha Axel answered, his lips curled into a hug smile as he pulled me into a hug. “It was successful,” he laughed.

“Tell me everything that happened” I commanded as I dragged him to the bed. “Don't leave anything out” I commanded, my face etched with seriousness.

“Wow, you look like you're about to crack” he joked, lying down on the bed. “The elders supported everything and we will soon be on our way to find the last artifact”. He explained.
