RACHEL'S POV.I paced around my room anxiously, I was waiting for Alpha Axel to return from the meeting. I bit my fingers as I paced around. My mind was clouded with worries. “What if the meeting doesn't end well?” I thought. “What is taking you forever Alpha Axel?” I muttered as I looked at the wall clock.Immediately the door gently opened revealing Alpha Axel. “Hi,” he greeted, approaching me.“How was the meeting?” I asked as I rushed over to him, sweat dripped from my face. “It was successful” Alpha Axel answered, his lips curled into a hug smile as he pulled me into a hug. “It was successful,” he laughed.“Tell me everything that happened” I commanded as I dragged him to the bed. “Don't leave anything out” I commanded, my face etched with seriousness.“Wow, you look like you're about to crack” he joked, lying down on the bed. “The elders supported everything and we will soon be on our way to find the last artifact”. He explained.“Has the location been found?” I asked, my brows
RACHEL'S POV.I followed my mother quietly to her house, her face contorted with seriousness throughout the journey, not a single sound came from her. Arriving at her house, she quietly led me to a dark room, a place I had never been to. The door was a large metal door that had no knob. My mother placed her hand on the door and muttered some words, and the door suddenly opened.“Where is this place, mother?” I asked her as I walked in, looking around. The room was filled with different shelves that contained different potions, and a big cauldron was located in the middle of the room. A broom was placed by the side. “Is that a broom?” I smiled as I ran to it.“Yes, it is,” she replied, moving closer to the table, checking some books.“Wow, I didn't know you had a broom,” I said holding the broom, my face contorted with amusement.“Every witch has a broom,” she answered coldly. “Sit” she commanded, gesturing to me to sit on the floor. “Can I get one?” I asked, carefully sitting on the
AUTHOR'S POV.The pale crescent moon shone like a silvery claw in the night sky, and a gentle breeze swept freely through the deserted hallway. Rachel's steps echoed through the walls as she moved, her mind clouded with confused thought, her face etched with concern as she clutched her baby bump.“I wonder who the Luna witch is,” she thought as she walked slowly through the hallway. “Why do I have some of her abilities?” She shook her head in confusion. “What are you doing outside here?” Sam asked, walking over. “Don't tell me you saw Athena again” she scoffed.“Hurtful,” Rachel joked as she walked to meet her. “I couldn't sleep so I decided to get some fresh air and a good stroll,” she explained.“Pregnancy bad side?” Sam asked as they walked down the hallway together. “There is no bad side to pregnancy, it's just a wonderful experience that all women should have,” Rachel explained, rubbing her bump in excitement.“Oh please” Sam scoffed. “Leave me out of that experience,” she sai
ALPHA AXEL'S POV.The gentle breeze swept through my face, as I rolled on my bed. I moved closer to hug Rachel, my eyes opened in alarm. Rachel wasn't on the bed.I jerked up from the bed, glancing around in search of Rachel, but she wasn't in the room. I wore my shirt and hurried outside without doing my buttons, as I hurriedly went out in search of Rachel, I bumped into Daniel, his face etched with worries.“Sorry,” I apologized, “Where are you going by this time?” I asked him.“I can't find Arya” he answered, his voice laced with concern. “I haven't seen Arya since Stephen's clan attacked” he explained, his brows furrowed in concern.“You haven't seen her?” I asked, “Did something bad happen to her, but nobody was recorded missing, some died but Arya wasn't among the bodies found”. I said, my voice laced with curiosity.“I did see her after the attack, she was in the room, but…’’ his words trailed off as he bit his lips. “When I saw her she was badly injured, she was bleeding but i
AUTHOR'S POV.“Daniel” Arya's mouth fell open as she stared blankly at him. “It's not what you think,” she said, her voice filled with tears.Forgive me Alpha, but I know you are desperate to kill Stephen, but working with Athena, that's not acceptable” Sam shouted angrily. Immediately she transformed into her wolf form and she pounced on Arya.“Enough” Alpha Cole shouted as he caught Sam in the air, throwing her in the opposite direction. Sam slowly transformed into her human self as she glared at Alpha Cole. “Enough,” he said calmly, turning to Alpha Axel.“Arya, what do you mean that your secret has been exposed?” Daniel asked, his eyes filled with betrayal, as he clenched his fists in anger.“I thought you knew about my secret?” Arya asked, coming closer to Daniel. “I thought you knew who I was?”.“Don't come any closer” Daniel shouted, his voice laced with venom. “What did I know? I only knew that you loved Alpha Axel but it seems there is more to it than you told me” he scoffed.
RACHEL'S POV.We all sat quietly in the garden, our faces etched with a mixture of confusion, concern and betrayal. Daniel sat across me as he tapped his foot furiously and bit his fingers, and his eyes brimmed with tears. I felt pity for him.Arya wasn't Athena but she was something much worse, something that shouldn't be allowed to live. “But why did she try to save me?” I thought as I shook my head in confusion.“How could you?” Sam's angry voice broke the silence as she smoldered at Alpha Cole in resentment. “This isn't you Alpha Cole, how could you side with her?” She asked as tears rolled down her face.“She wasn't a threat to any of us and besides she has the same goal as us” Alpha Cole defended.“Same goal?” Sam scoffed. “That girl was born with black magic, she killed hundreds of our people, and she is a fugitive”. Sam shouted.“Watch your tone Sam” Alpha Cole warned, his voice filled with venom.“She has all the right to be angry” I defended Sam, coming closer to her. “Sam h
AUTHOR'S POV.“Arya” Daniel's mouth fell open as he stood up. “You are safe” he smiled as he ran to hug her.“I am so sorry I broke your trust” Arya pleaded, her eyes were puffy and red, and she released herself from Daniel's embrace. “I came to apologize and say goodbye”. She revealed.“What?” Alpha Cole shouted, his face etched with shock. “Arya you can't leave now, it will be easier for Ardolf and Stephen to catch you”. “Yes, he is right, Arya” Rachel moved closer as she held Arya's hands, giving her a reassuring smile. “I am sorry for everything I have put you through”. Rachel pleaded.“I am the one who should be apologizing, not you” Arya smiled back, her eyes glistening in tears.“You owe us an explanation,” Alpha Axel said coldly. “Tell us everything”. He commanded.“Alpha Axel!” Rachel shouted at him as she eyed him.“It's okay, he is right, I do owe everyone an explanation and Sam…” she paused as a fresh pool of tears rolled down her cheeks. “I also owe Sam an apology”. She
RACHEL'S POV.I took Arya for a walk, her face etched with irremediable sorrow, the look in her eyes was desolate, as sadness watched over her face. I felt pity for her. Thanks for forgiving me” Arya said, breaking the silence. “It means a lot”.“It's nothing, I really should be the one apologizing” I replied. “I still can't forgive myself for calling you Athena”.“It's not your fault I used to turn to Athena sometimes and I acted strangely, it's only fair you suspect me”. She smiled.“Can I ask you some questions?” I asked her and she nodded in approval as she stared at me. “The first time Luthus attacked, I saw you behind Luthus when it disappeared but later I saw Athena, was that you?” I asked her, my face flickered to fear as I clutched my belly.“No, it was the real Athena,” she answered.“What?” I muttered, “So I did meet the real Athena,” I said, swallowing hard. “Can you tell me everything?” I asked her.“Nothing much is left to say” She shook her head. “You said after the in
