I thought about the times when Maya told me about the voices she heard. After hearing that, I don't know why but my heart and mind rushed towards one conclusion. And that's why I spoke up.

"Maya might be a werewolf, Paul," I confessed.

"What? A werewolf? Are you sure?" Paul looked shocked at my revelation.

"No! I'm not sure. That's why I used the word may," I replied.

I did have a gut feeling about my mate being a wolf, but I wasn't sure about it. I had to figure it out.

"But what made you think like that?" He questioned.

"She told me that she heard voices, that only she could hear and it was responding to her. It's something that we do when we talk to our wolves. No one else can hear our wolf's voice," I reasoned out.

I don't know why, but all I could figure out about the voices she said to be the voices of her wolf. But if she's a wolf, why hasn't she transitioned yet? There were so many questions running in my head.
