I looked at Maya as she was taken away. I was angry at her, every part of my body was urging me to kill her but I couldn't. No one here could even dare to harm Maya at any cost. Even whatever I was doing to Maya, I wasn't allowed to do that as well, but my reason to do that was more than enough to justify my actions. Yet, I couldn't harm her more. She's our alpha's mate and she had been marked by the alpha and that was our biggest weakness, but I couldn't let her know that.

I couldn't let Maya know that she is much more powerful than all of us, she withholds an authority over all of us. She's our queen, the Luna of this pack. And I could not let her know that at any cost, because if I did that, it might destroy the entire pack. And at Kaiser's absence, I had to make sure that this doesn't happen.

"Before I proceed, I have to make an important announcement," I spoke to the people present there and then I looked at Kaiser's father.

He nodded.
