It was late in the afternoon, almost time for the sun to set and the whole members of The Garoeux pack were assembled at the great hall built by Lucian's grandfather. It was situated at the West wing, a part of the building Lucian inherited. It had been an assembly ground for centuries and they had kept to the venue whenever the whole members were to meet.

Prior to the general meeting, Lucian had gathered the members of his cabinet; Casey, Lucian's beta and a brutal one at that.
