LOGAN'S POV

Killian coughed again and spat out more thick masses of blood, his eyes rolling into their sockets.

What the hell was going on?

“Killian, are you okay?” I inquired, my dear increasing.

“I … .my stomach…it hurts…” he replied, and began to gasp for breath.

“Let's call for help,” Gertrude suggested.

Immediately, I and the rest of the men swallowed our pride and began to shout for help. It seemed like our efforts were futile because no one could hear us.
