~Ralph

The following morning arrived far too quickly. The sun’s golden rays filtered through the curtains, but they brought no warmth to me. My body felt like a battlefield, aching and bruised from the war I’d fought days before. Yet today, my battle was personal, and I knew I had to face it alone.

I sat on the edge of my bed, staring at the boots I’d discarded the night before. Slowly, I reached for them, my movements stiff and deliberate. Pain shot through my side as I bent down, but I gritted my teeth and forced myself to pull the boots on, one at a time. The leather felt heavier than usual, like the weight of my burdens had seeped into them.

As I laced them tightly, my mind raced. I couldn’t afford to involve my warriors, or even Callan, in this fight. Too many lives had already been lost because of me. Too many families were mourning their loved ones while I sat here, broken but alive. This fight with Noah? It was mine, and mine alone.

Standing, I shrugged on my jacket, the fabri

~RalphLilith’s smirk widened, the kind that made my skin crawl. She leaned closer to the car window, her eyes gleaming with amusement. “I’ll tell you what you want to know, Ralph,” she said, her voice as smooth as silk. “But only if you agree to one condition.”I narrowed my eyes, already knowing I wouldn’t like where this was going. “Spit it out, Lilith. I’m not in the mood for games.”“Oh, it’s no game,” she teased, her tone light but loaded with insinuation. “Meet me in your room tonight, and I’ll tell you everything.”For a moment, I just stared at her, unable to believe the words coming out of her mouth. “Are you serious right now?”She tilted her head, her red lips curling into a smile that would’ve been alluring if it weren’t so infuriating. “Completely.”I slammed the door open, stepping out of the car with enough force to make her take a step back. I loomed over her, my voice low and icy. “Do I look like I’m in the mood for any kind of pleasure? Or are you blind as well as s

~OtsanaI woke up with a start, my body aching from head to toe. The stench hit me first—a sickening blend of damp earth, mold, and decay. My wrists burned as I tried to move, the rough ropes biting into my skin. I blinked a few times, my vision adjusting to the dim, flickering light of the torches on the dungeon walls. Something cold brushed against my leg. Panic surged through me as I looked down to see rats scurrying around, their beady eyes reflecting the faint light. I screamed, kicking my legs frantically to push them away, but it only seemed to agitate them. One bold rat climbed up my leg, its teeth grazing my skin. “Get away!” I yelled, tears streaming down my face as I swung my body in desperation. My hands were bound tightly behind my back, leaving me defenseless. My breathing was ragged as I finally managed to stand, the rats retreating slightly. “Where am I?” I muttered, my voice barely above a whisper. I looked around, my heart sinking further. The walls were made of ro

~SophiaThe Greyhound pack house was alive with laughter and music, the warm glow of candles and fairy lights giving the spacious room a celebratory feel. I leaned back on the plush sofa, holding a glass of wine in my hand as my friends surrounded me, their chatter filling the air. "Can you believe it?" Claire said, her auburn hair falling in waves around her shoulders as she poured herself another drink. "Tomorrow, you’ll be Alpha Ralph’s Luna. The Alpha Ralph! How does it feel to be marrying the most charming man alive?"I chuckled, taking a sip of my wine. "It feels... surreal," I admitted, though my stomach twisted at her words. Charming, yes, but there was so much more to this union than anyone knew. Lila, the more outspoken of my friends, leaned forward, resting her chin in her hand. Her dark eyes sparkled with mischief. "Surreal, huh? Well, I hope you’ve thought this through. I mean, for him to lose the war to your father... doesn’t that make him weak? Are you sure he’s stron

~RalphMorning of the WeddingThe first rays of dawn streamed through the thin curtains of my room, doing little to chase away the dread that had been building inside me. My chest felt heavy as if the weight of the entire pack—and more—rested squarely on my shoulders. Today was my wedding day.To Sophia. Not Otsana.I rolled over in bed, groaning, my hand reaching for my phone on the bedside table. Without thinking, I dialed Otsana’s number. It rang once. Twice. No answer. I cursed under my breath and dialed again. Still nothing.“Damn it, Otsana,” I muttered, pressing the phone against my forehead. “Just let me hear your voice.”I knew she was with Noah now. The thought of that bastard—her mate—taking care of her both comforted and infuriated me. At least she was safe. At least she wouldn’t have to witness this farce of a wedding.A tear slipped down my cheek before I could stop it. I clenched my jaw, wiping it away angrily. Alpha Ralph didn’t cry. Yet here I was, falling apart like

~OtsanaThe sound of the heavy lock turning echoed through the cold, damp dungeon. I sat up quickly, my back pressed against the stone wall as the metal door creaked open. A man stepped in, holding a tray of food that smelled like it had been scraped off the bottom of a pan. “We leave at sunrise, get ready” he said, as he placed the food on the ground and turned to leave.“Wait,” I called out, my voice raspy from thirst. “Where are you taking me? You said we leave at sunrise… where are we going?”He glanced over his shoulder, his expression unreadable. For a moment, I thought he might answer, but he just shook his head and left, the door slamming shut behind him. The lock clicked again, sealing me back into silence.I stared at the tray of food. A chunk of stale bread, a piece of overcooked meat, and a small cup of water. It wasn’t much, but it was better than nothing. Hunger gnawed at my stomach, and I reached for the bread. As I broke it in half, I heard the faint scuttling of tiny

~RalphThe tension in Noah’s office was suffocating, but I wasn’t about to show weakness—not in front of him. He sat there like he owned the world, his casual posture irritating me as he swirled a glass of amber liquid. I refused to meet his smug gaze. The sound of the clock ticking on the wall was louder than my own heartbeat, yet my thoughts were racing faster than ever. Otsana was out there, and we were wasting time. "Are you going to sit there all night, or are you going to eat something?" Noah finally broke the silence, his voice calm, almost amused. He reached for a plate of sandwiches on his desk, pushing it toward me. "You need energy if we’re going to find her."I glared at him. "I’m not here to eat, Noah. Save your hospitality for someone who cares."He smirked and leaned back in his chair. "Suit yourself, but starving yourself won’t help you think any clearer. And we both know you need clarity right now." I clenched my fists. "Don’t act like we’re friends. We’re not. You’

~OtsanaThe air was thick with dampness, the dim light of the corridor flickering weakly as I was dragged by Jasper’s men. My wrists throbbed from the tight ropes cutting into my skin, and my heart pounded in my chest. They didn’t say a word as they pulled me through the old building. My captors’ silence was almost worse than the occasional sneers they’d thrown at me earlier. Finally, we stopped in front of a door. It was heavy, made of dark wood, and bore the scars of years of use. One of them pushed it open, and I was yanked inside. The room smelled of stale air and dust, and I could immediately tell it hadn’t been used in a long time. A worn bedframe sat in the corner, and a tattered carpet covered parts of the creaky wooden floor. The wallpaper peeled at the edges, revealing the rough stone beneath. “This used to be mine when I was a child,” Jasper said, stepping into the room after us. His voice was low, almost contemplative, as he looked around. “Fitting, isn’t it? That you’d

~RalphThe night stretched on endlessly, oppressive and heavy, like a storm cloud refusing to break. The silence inside the packhouse was deafening, broken only by the sound of my boots hitting the cold stone floor. Every step echoed around me, as though mocking my desperation. Otsana was here—I could feel it. Or at least she had been. “Jasper!” I roared, my voice reverberating through the halls. There was no answer. Of course not. That coward wouldn’t face me directly.Behind me, Noah followed at a leisurely pace, his calmness a stark contrast to my barely contained fury. His footsteps barely made a sound, but I could feel his presence, smug and unbothered. “You know,” he began, his voice smooth and maddeningly relaxed, “yelling at the walls won’t do much good. They’re not going to suddenly sprout mouths and give you answers.”I ignored him, my focus locked on the door at the end of the corridor. Each door I opened, every room I checked, only heightened my frustration. I didn’t nee

~RalphSitting in the SUV parked a short distance from Noah’s mansion, I adjusted my seat for the fifth time. My nerves were on edge, but I kept my face calm. Outside, the night was dark and quiet, except for the faint hum of crickets. My men were silent, their eyes fixed on the mansion as if staring hard enough would give us a way in. Jasper, sitting in the driver’s seat, broke the silence. “So, Ralph,” he began, turning his head slightly to glance at me, “congratulations on the baby.” I froze for a moment, caught off guard. My throat felt dry, but I managed a shy, “Thank you.” He chuckled softly, shaking his head. “The mighty Alpha Ralph, my little brother, speechless. Never thought I’d see the day.” I gave him a small smile, staring out the window. “I saw it in my dreams,” I admitted quietly, almost to myself. “Otsana… she’s the only woman who could give me a child. I knew it would happen. I just didn’t know when.” Jasper grinned, leaning back. “Well, the Moon Goddess cle

~OtsanaA knock startled me. I froze in place, staring at the door, every nerve in my body on edge. Noah wouldn’t knock again. He’d been here moments ago, and he had no reason to knock again. If it were him, he would have burst in like he owned the place—because, in his mind, he did. Another knock came, softer this time. Could it…Could it be Jessica? My breath caught in my throat, and I rushed to the door. If it was her, there was no time to waste. My heart thudded as I cracked it open cautiously. Relief washed over me like a wave. It was her. She slipped into the room quickly, her movements sharp and hurried. “Close the door. Now,” she whispered, her voice low but firm. I slammed it shut and locked it this time, double-checking to make sure it was secure. Turning to her, I saw her sharp gaze sweep over me, taking in my tense posture and trembling hands. “What’s wrong?” she asked, her tone softening. “Why do you look like you’ve seen a ghost?” I exhaled shakily, tryi

~Otsana“Pick up, Ralph,” I whispered, biting my lip anxiously. When the call abruptly ended, my chest tightened, panic clawing at me. Jessica’s eyes darted to me. “Did he pick up?” I shook my head, my voice shaky. “He ended the call.” Jessica’s brows knitted together. “Try again.” With shaky hands, I redialed his number. This time, the phone didn’t even ring. Instead, a robotic voice informed me, ‘The number you are trying to reach is currently switched off.’ My stomach sank. “No, no, no,” I muttered, my voice cracking. I turned to Jessica, my eyes wide with fear. “His phone’s off. What should we do now?” Jessica exhaled sharply, placing her hands on her hips. “Calm down, Otsana. Panicking won’t help.” I couldn’t calm down, not with my thoughts spiraling into every worst-case scenario imaginable. “What if Noah forced an abortion on me? What if Ralph doesn’t know what’s happening here? Jessica, what if—” “Stop,” she said firmly, grabbing my shoulders. “We’ll figure thi

~RalphThe car sped down the dark road, the headlights slicing through the night like twin swords. Jasper sat beside me, his hands resting casually on his lap, but his eyes were sharp, scanning the horizon. Behind us, two more vehicles followed, packed with my guards. The silence in the car was thick, broken only by the occasional hum of the engine. I gripped the steering wheel tighter, my knuckles whitening. The thought of Noah’s smug face flashed in my mind, and my grip tightened further. I swear, if he so much as touched her— "Ralph," Jasper said, breaking my thoughts. "You're gonna crack the steering wheel in half if you keep doing that." I let out a heavy sigh and loosened my grip, though my mind remained restless. “Jasper,” I began, my voice low, “what do you think Grayson’s up to?” Jasper turned to me, raising an eyebrow. “Grayson? What about him?” I shrugged, my eyes fixed on the road ahead. “His silence. It’s unnatural. The man doesn’t know how to stay quiet. It feel

~OtsanaThe garden was peaceful, a sharp contrast to the storm raging in my mind. My feet dragged me along the stone path, the soft crunch of gravel beneath me echoing louder than it should. Noah’s words played on a loop, haunting me. Abort the baby. The phrase cut deeper every time I thought of it. I paused and placed my hand protectively over my belly. “No,” I whispered, my voice trembling. “No matter what, I will protect you.” My hand lingered, and I could almost feel the faintest flutter from within, as if the baby was agreeing with me. A weak smile formed on my lips. “Ralph,” I murmured, tears streaming down my face. “We have a bundle of joy now. Where are you? Come save us.” The plea hung in the air, but the silence that followed felt suffocating. Reality crashed down on me—I was alone. The mansion’s security was tight. Even if Ralph somehow managed to get here, how would he break in? How would he get to me and take us away? I sank onto the edge of a stone bench, the weight o

~NoahWe sat in the doctor’s office, a quiet tension in the air. I leaned back in my chair, keeping my face calm, though my mind was anything but calm. Otsana sat beside me, stiff as a statue, her hands trembling on her lap. She refused to look at me. I didn’t blame her; this entire situation had spiraled into something neither of us wanted. The doctor, a tall man with glasses perched precariously on his nose, finally entered, flipping through a file. He looked up with a smile. “Ah, Your Majesty,” he said, nodding at me respectfully. “Congratulations are in order.”My brows furrowed. “Congratulations?”The doctor gestured toward Otsana with a warm smile. “Yes, King Noah. Your queen to be is pregnant. Approximately ten weeks along. You must be very pleased.”I froze. The words hit me like a punch to the gut. Pregnant? I forced myself to nod, offering a tight smile. “Yes, of course. It’s…” My throat felt dry. “Wonderful news.”Beside me, Otsana shrank into her seat. Her face was pale, h

~OtsanaSitting at the long, polished mahogany dining table, I stared down at my plate. Roast chicken, mashed potatoes, and a vibrant assortment of steamed vegetables were arranged neatly, but I had no appetite. Across from me sat Noah, his piercing eyes fixed on me as he ate in silence. I could feel the weight of his gaze, but he hadn’t spoken a word to me since we sat down. The tension between us was noticeable, lingering like a storm cloud. After what had happened between us—his sudden Nate oull, the forceful way he brought me here—I knew he was struggling to bridge the silence, but I didn’t intend to make it easy for him.Noah’s fork clinked against his plate as he set it down. He gestured to one of the chefs standing nearby. “Bring more food,” he ordered. “She needs energy for the mating ceremony ritual tomorrow.”I froze, my fork halfway to my mouth. “What mating ceremony?” My voice was sharp, my heart hammering in my chest. He leaned back in his chair, folding his arms as if th

I turned sharply, already irritated. “Who is it?” I barked, my voice carrying the edge of frustration that had been simmering all day.“It’s Lilith,” came the soft reply from the other side of the door.I froze. Lilith? I hadn’t seen her in dsys, not since the debacle with Grayson. What the hell was she doing here? I yanked the door open, and there she stood, a shadow of the woman I once knew. She had lost so much weight; her once-bright eyes now seemed dimmed with exhaustion. “Can I come in?” she asked softly, her voice almost timid. It was a far cry from the fiery woman I remembered.I nodded stiffly. “Sure.”She stepped inside, and I couldn’t help but stare as she walked past me. Her frame was frail, her movements careful, as if she feared breaking. She made her way to the sofa and sat down, her hands clasped tightly in her lap. She took a deep breath before speaking.“I know you’re surprised to s

~RalphIt had been seven days since Otsana disappeared. Seven excruciatingly long days. I kept replaying the last moments I saw her, hoping for a clue, something I’d missed. Each passing second felt like a failure. The guilt gnawed at me like a ravenous beast. Now, driving back to the Greyhound Pack after helping Jasper secure the Silverwaters Pack, my patience was wearing thinner than ever. The car hummed softly as it sped down the winding forest road. Jasper, seated next to me, had been trying to strike up a conversation for the past twenty minutes, his voice grating against my already frayed nerves. “Ralph, I appreciate you stepping in back there,” he said cautiously, testing the waters. “I couldn’t have claimed Silverwaters pack without you.” I didn’t respond, my eyes fixed on the road ahead. He tried again. “It’s good to see you in action, you know. Reminded me of the old days, back when—” “Stop,” I snapped, cutting him off mid-sentence. My hands tightened around the st
