CHAPTER 108: I'm Arthur

“What’s this weird scent?” I looked around following it, it was impossible for it to be so strong because I was standing in the middle of a crowd of drunkards. I still looked around and gave up on finding it.

I knew what was coming before me, my mate bond is around me here somewhere. But honestly, I’m scared because I saw Zeus breaking alive. And if I were in his shoes, I would’ve died from the heartache he went through.

I tried to go back shutting my senses down but lost Zeus, he must've left without me. I started leaving too and exited the bar. The scent became strong and I looked around to see whom it was coming from.

I saw a girl crying in the road, it was her. I walked towards her and she lifted her face. Tears rolling down from her faint grey eyes, her lips were shivering from the cold and I covered her with my coat.

The scent grew stronger as I touched her and she flinched. My heart was thumping finding his way out of my chest, she was my mate bond. I couldn’t look away
