CHAPTER 115: Memoir

AURORA-

“Are you kidding me?” I gasped, what is this? Is this how they’re gonna test me?

“You’re obviously testing my patience…” I snorted trying to keep my calm. In no world they’d have my mother’s journal.

“It’s a pity your father died even before you could properly walk into this world.” He knows enough, I’m scared.

“This journal was found in your abandoned house, ever since Zeus claimed you to be his Luna, we’ve been finding things to test you with. And luckily---” I intercepted.

“Enough, I’m not listening to your bullshit…”

“So, you choose this child to die? And you won’t get to have your mother’s journal!! And you won’t become Zeus’ Luna.” He kept on adding points I wanted to go deaf for.

“Burn this book, throw the child into the fire.” His hoarse voice made my steps halt.

“I see you want to stay!!” the evil smile on his face, I looked around. “No, I don’t…”

I shrugged; I don’t feel anything. People die, they’re born to die, it shouldn’t bother me.
