Chapter 4 - Why...!!!

His eyes' glow changed, and it turned dark blue, and everyone knew it only happens when one finds their mate. This cleared everyone's confusion.

Now they were sure this girl was their future Luna; everyone cheered in their heart because they would accept anyone but Belle; she was nothing but humiliation on their pack.

People knew their pack for strength and power, yet she was nothing but a weakling, and there was no way they could respect such a weak as their Luna.

But a cold bucket flashed on them when Ellis opened his mouth. "Miss, who are you? And who said you're my mate? Ellis said and made everyone's jaws fall on the ground.

The happiest person was Belle when the girl appeared out of nowhere. She finally believed she could get rid of this engagement with their excuse because she never planned to accept anyone other than her mate.

The girl looked hurt when she got such a cruel reaction from her mate; after so many hard times searching, she just found it.

"Mate, how can you say this? Can't you feel our bond, my every being craving for your scent and your touch? I'm dying to feel you, can't you? The girl stared at him as her life depended on his answer.

"Sorry, I don't know what feeling; what bond are you talking about? I'm not feeling anything, so don't mislead everyone; I already found my soulmate."

Ellis turned his gaze to Belle; his distant look turned gentle in a second as if he was a different person.

Jealousy rose in the girl's heart; she wanted to kill the person who was getting what belonged to her,

She suddenly turned and looked at the person who was just a little behind her; without a second delay, she grabbed Belle through her throat.

Everyone was shocked to their wits; no one expected this reaction, although they knew if anyone's mate looked to the opposite gender.

Jealousy would make them do something crazy, like the girl. Everyone could feel her reaction, but before she could twist Belle's throat, a large hand grabbed the girl's hand and threw her in the air with a punch.

"Ahhhhhhhhh" everyone screamed in horror. The silent hall suddenly turned chaotic. Even Belle didn't react yet.

She just felt a dreadful pain in her throat and her breath stopped for a second, and before she could understand what was going on, the hand was gone; Belle grabbed her neck and coughed a few times.

Ellis was still in his rage, suddenly stopped looking at the woman who had already coughed blood after getting a punch from her mate.

He grabbed Belle through her waist and pulled her closer to him; even though Belle struggled, it was no use; Ellis looked at the black and blue hand mark on her neck; his rage doubled.

"you dare to touch her, believe me, or not, I'll tear you apart," Ellis threatened the girl; the girl was in a dangerous situation; if she were not a wolf, she would have long lost sense and hurt badly, 

but she was a strong she-wolf, so this was a quiet light injury, yet her heart's wound was greater than any physical pain.

"Who dares to touch our princess? A powerful voice suddenly frightened everyone. Others might know the voice, but Logan, who was silent all the time until he heard the voice, flinched and looked at the door in horror.

Soon, a few figures appeared in the hall. Everyone looked at them confusedly, but their confusion turned to shock when they saw it was none other than the royal family and the royal princes.

When they the bloody mess, their eyes turned red, and they ran to her and carried her in their arms; when the King saw his daughter in that state,

He growled, but his attention shifted to his Queen when he saw she was as shocked as them; her heart was about to collapse,

After all, the girl was none other than the King and Queen's daughter, Quinn Hubert, the only princess of the king and queen in the werewolf clan. 

"Logan Reed, is this how you treat our royal family? The King shouted at the man, who stood far away from them with an awe expression. 

Everyone felt their pack was in great danger; they already understood that their future Alpha punched was none other than the famous daughter of Alpha king Hubert and Queen Hubert.

Logan's breath stuck in his throat; he knew they messed with the wrong people; he finally came back to his sense and looked at the person in front of him 

"Ellis, apologize to Princess Hubert right now. " He had no excuse to explain the situation. He would think about it later, but now he needs to calm the King and Queen.

Otherwise, no one could stop the disaster that would happen to his pack. 

King and queen paid no attention to him and walked to their princess when the King saw his daughter was still bleeding, 

He was surprised because he knew his daughter was born with the royal family's superpower in their blood. 

She would never bleed or get hurt from such a small punch, so why didn't heal individually? 

The King finally looked at the man who was the reason for these in a different light; he fisted and sealed his daughter's pain. 

He closed his eyes and kept his hand on her wound, and soon the girl healed and stopped feeling any uncomfortable pain in her body; she smiled weakly at her family; this made their hearts ache exceedingly. 

When the King saw his daughter was fine, he turned to the pack's people and Ellis, "now I hope silver dawn's people and the Alpha would give a better explanation that could make me forgive them,

otherwise, I will not take a second to ban you all from the whole werewolf clan and make you all spend the rest of your life as rogues," the King's warning was clear,

he would ban them, and it was nothing worse than hell for the werewolf being a nameless pack.
