DARREN'S POV

As the first light of dawn broke through the windows, I knew it was time for me to go find the Bandits as promised. Time to leave, time to pursue justice for Miranda and Damien. I couldn't delay any longer because the longer I stay, there are more dangers ahead of me to fight for the people that are so dear to my heart. I had to find answers, and I had to ensure that Miranda and Damien were safe, that's my number one priority and it's a promise to Miranda.

I was done dressing up looking so tired and distressed. After the issues between Miranda and Vivian, it was so draining and tiring at the same time making me think so much.

I head to Miranda's room where she passed the night and fortunately I have a spare key because the door was locked and I used it to open the door. She was sleeping so soundly and I couldn't help but drool over her pretty face. She still looks so beautiful and pretty like the Miranda I've always known.
