I wake up with a groan, still feeling the effects of that fucking silver in my body. With sluggish moves, I get up from the ground and go to the cell’s door, only to be met with the barrel of a gun.
“Don’t you fucking dare!” Lia shoots up from the crate she’s been sitting on and points the gun straight at my head.
“Woah, woah, woah. Calm down little human. – I raise my hands in surrender – I don’t want to be shot again.” I calmly back away from the bars. Lia glares at me for a moment before sitting back down on the crate, facing the cell with the gun still tightly clutched in her hand.
“One wrong move and I'll put a bullet in your chest, wolf.” She warns, sounding deadly calm.
I slide down the wall opposite to the bars, smirking at her intrigued. “How do you know it’s me and not Lorenzo?” I implore curiously.
